I think it speaks volumes for the growth of their relationship from Season 1 that Amenadiel passed on the job he'd been groomed for since before time began bc he recognized Lucifer to be the one more worthy of the position. He started the series a self righteous, power hungry dick, and ended it having learned to be self reflective, and willing to sacrifice his own happiness for the greater good. I honestly believe that him becoming a father both helped him realize Dad's flaws as a parent(and that Lucifer was right about their Father not being perfect), and made him realize both the beauty of humanity(both in Linda, and in little Charlie), and why mortality makes them live with such passion..bc their lives are so short, they are forced to appreciate what they have, bc they're not guaranteed 5 seconds from now(as Eve noted).....his willingness to sacrifice his own mortality just to save Charlie from ever having to experience it, proved to me that in the few short months Charlie had been on Earth, he'd already become a far, far greater father to his own son than their Dad had ever been to them. My mom had to sit deathwatch while my younger brother died of a sudden illness when he was 28, and I know she prayed the same prayer of self sacrifice over him that Amenadiel did over Charlie...*any* true parent would pray the same prayer.

I love this i especially love when Amenadiel calls Lucifer Lucy! It's so cute, and so sweet. Its like a term of endearment towards him. And Lucifer doesn't mind it instead he let's him call him that. Which shows that Lucifer loves his big brother. I especially love when they started out with a rocky relationship and then it got better as the show progressed. Love them!

Love these 2 their relationship reminds me of Damon & Stefan. One a rebellious bad boy the other trying to be the good brother and keep the other one reigned in. They may fight and be at odds with each other sometimes but when things get tough they have each other’s back.

Just being reminded that the series started out with Amenadiel trying to get Lucifer to Hell, now he's the one getting him to come back. This is one of the most beautiful, moving and delicate videos I have ever seen on the show. The one between Lucifer and Amenadiel is my favorite relationship, the deepest and the one that, starting from a very low and conflicting point, continues to rise and become stronger and more intense. The authors are true poets of human relations, and in this they gave their best. Perhaps it helped them handle angels, as characters, to be able to give them so much greatness, and certainly two incredible and perfect actors, even in their friendship in private life. They are on the same path together, moving forward in individual lanes. Remove Amenadiel from this show & it had not at all been as good as it is! Amenadiel has some of the best lines of any character on this show, he is the voice of conscience. And Lucifer has gone from refusing to listening to his older brother to even relying on him, & he is always there for Amenadiel in return. A short vid like this is just a scratch on the surface but this vid would work as an excellent trailer for the show from this relationship's perspective alone. And great choice of song & I love how you match lyrics with clips. That is what separates good fan vids from bad ones. I hope you continue to make more Lucifer vids even if we are now on pause right in the middle of season 5.

But for Lucifer to bring hope and heal others he must heal himself it took a while. For millennia Lucifer’s abilities were motivated by anger,rage,with a mix of hate and self-hatred. Amenadiel used his darker impulses because he felt he was superior to humanity since he was a celestial being and accomplishing God’s will was all that matters but he realized not long after he was wrong. Lucifer used his dark impulses for both himself and others,it was always desire,there was also a sort of Justice or respect for the people he valued in humanity. We already know he was there inspiring others, I’m not sure exactly sure when but in Greek,the 1800,the 1900s,etc he admitted the as there to Linda and he helped those who were lost.

I loved his speeches in season 5, especially the one to Chloe about how real her relationship with Lucifer is. I am planning to make a Douchifer video soon lol... haven't explored that relationship yet and possibly a Lucifer/Linda vid. I think I've made nearly 100 Lucifer videos now... whew... anyway thanks again! :)

My absolute fav line so far on this show belongs to Amenadiel in season 5 when he tells Chloe that she is the only one that sees Lucifer for who he truly is, & that that is the gift from God & not that she herself is any gift. Such beautiful words from such a great character. As for your future projects, I am game! Doucifer would be hilarious & there is just one good Linda/Lucifer vid out there & that deserves more & certainly your take.

What I love here is the parallels of Lucifer and Amenadiel’s loss of wings. Amenadiel mentally made himself lose his wings because he thought he failed his father by falling after a millennia of commitment to his order to him as a soldier he is. He felt he needed to be punish whereas Lucifer cut his wings off to be free from his father not to be back into his order and live his own life and have freedom because he felt his punishment was unjust and unfair. Lucifer had enough of being God’s pawn and him controlling his legacy and fate.

I also love this parallel of Lucifer believing he’s worthy of his angel wings because of *LIFE* as I recall Lucifer felt proud of himself and was confident in showing Chloe his Devilface. As Lucifer said to God,it was terrifying to experience love but it was worthwhile to evolve and change.whereas Amenadiel felt he earned his wings due to *TRADEGY* and imminent behavior to act as a soldier once more to take Charlotte to heaven personally. Amenadiel felt he did God’s work once more cause Charlotte clearly earned her place in heaven after sacrificing her life for him. In the beginning Lucifer utilzied his wings when he was In hell but he never thought a angel,atleast a pure angel since he was The Devil. Lucifer felt he was a monster not a healer but in the end he realized he could and be both.

What’s ironic is Lucifer Morningstar,The Devil is also The Light Bringer. But for Lucifer to bring hope and heal others he must heal himself it took a while. For millennia Lucifer’s abilities were motivated by anger,rage,with a mix of hate and self-hatred. Amenadiel used his darker impulses because he felt he was superior to humanity since he was a celestial being and accomplishing God’s will was all that matters but he realized not long after he was wrong. Lucifer used his dark impulses for both himself and others,it was always desire,there was also a sort of Justice or respect for the people he valued in humanity. We already know he was there inspiring others, I’m not sure exactly sure when but in Greek,the 1800,the 1900s,etc he admitted the as there to Linda and he helped those who were lost.
