    Hello Karen of curl House..I absolutely ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️your channel and my natural hair has been natural for 20 years and ohhhhh it has been sooooo worth it to me.. I came to the realization/revelation that God blessed black women with a “SPECIAL GIFT” and that was our uniquely unique hair… HE DESIGNED IT TO BE EXACTLY WHAT ITS SUPPOSED TO BE.. WE are the only race of women with “textured” hair and WE can style it any way we want and that’s what makes US AS BLACK UNIQUE..GOD CREATED OUR HAIR TO DEFY GRAVITY TO STAND OUT AMONG THE CROWD.. SO WE ARE AND HAVE TO EMBRACE WHAT HE BLESSED US WITH..Thanks for your “TIPS” and God Bless You My Sista On Your Hair Channel ❤️🥰🙏🏾👍🏽😊

    Many women get frustrated due to the time it takes to style and buying expensive products. They are not satisfied with the results of their natural hair. I've been natural since 2009, had my hair dyed, cut, bleached, grew it out, cut it again but have never went back to relaxers. I love the diversity of my hair and will continue to be natural. Your hair is gorgeous and thank you for this.

    I was sick of dry, relaxed hair and an itchy dry scalp. I workout 4days a week and I don’t have to worry about getting it wet. I love my natural hair and it was worth it. I also embraced my gray hair and learned to care for it.

    Today is August 5th, 2022 and I had been natural for years because I couldn't wear perms and relaxers I wore my hair in braids and I did my own braids because other people braided too tight and now my hair is growing back from having breast cancer twice. I love my natural hair, I love the way it feels. I remember when my mother used to take care of my hair when I was younger and she would message my scalp and it felt so good. I still message my scalp twice a day morning and night my scalp is still sensitive because I am still on cancer medication but it is growing back naturally. Thank you for all your videos. God's continued love and blessings to you and everyone who reads them. Where can I find your book? Do you have any videos on braid outs and twist outs?

      Thank you so much! So glad you are embracing your natural hair and are a SURVIVOR! Yes! A scalp massage is like the best kept secret when it comes to hair growth (and relaxing LOL). I do have a video on how to do a twist out. I am working on another one as well. Here's the link: ruclips.net/video/E8NBfLfVBR8/видео.html

    Great video. The road to natural hair has been frustrating for me at times. I made the transition from chemicals four years ago. I didn’t know what my hair would “transition” into, but the way your hair looks like now, is what I envisioned. Boy was I mistaken! 😆I am a former personal trainer and fitness instructor, and I workout (cycle, golf, strength train 5 days a week)
    I know the importance of incorporating a healthy diet/lifestyle, plenty of sleep and drinking enormous amounts of water are second nature to me. I know that what you put in your body reveals itself on the outside. All that being said, I have finally embraced my natural hair, it’s texture and slow growth process. Thankfully, two years ago I found a hair salon in Fredericksburg, VA that specializes in healthy hair maintenance. 🙌🏽
    Lastly, I recently purchased your shampoo, conditioners and growth drops and I have vowed to use them until they are gone - tired of being a product junkie. Knowledge is power - Thanks for your expertise.

      That’s awesome Denise! I know so many women expected their natural hair to look a certain way and were very disappointed when it did not. But you have taken the right steps from both an internal and external perspective! And a great salon really really helps! I have a friend/colleague that is a natural hair specialist and she recently moved to Fredericksburg as well. Stay tuned for more videos related to hair growth!! They are coming soon! And remember consistently with the products and growth - consistency is KEY!!

      Hello there! Thank you so much!! have a video coming out soon about my growth journey this time. It’s been 2 years - cut it all off in 2020. And I have a video coming out tomorrow about what I do to elongate my curls a little. I know your 4c hair is much tighter than mine…and it’s only so much stretch you can do without heat, but this little trick using bands may help. But for my clients I use do flat twists to give some stretch to the curls some. Familiar with that style?

    How likely would a white woman with naturally straight hair ask: Natural hair ....is it worth it? Why does there have to be a reason for a black woman with naturally tightly coiled hair to wear her hair natural? Why are we as Black women in 2022 still asking this question?

    • @KarenofCurlHouse
      @KarenofCurlHouse  2 года назад +4

      Hello there! Well..probably not likely at all but as.a cosmetologist specializing in natural hair, I am constantly asked this question by countless women contemplating going or staying natural, which is why I addressed it on my channel. They question if it's worth the time commitment, associated costs, and other concerns mentioned in the video, so I will continue to encourage women to embrace their natural hair and help them with proper education along the way. 😊
