Surfing in the 60s and 70s without a leg rope was a thing. Consequently lots of dings in the board from surfing around rock points was also a thing. Very relaxing vid.
@@olderetiredtreemahn3234 Yes, and I've had a few long swims. Surfing without a leash also taught one how to hang on to the board as well, and to pull out or kick out.
Wow another beautiful day in Wikiki. Again the drone video is great. I like how you show the whole surroundings it gives a better feel for the area. Thanks Again! I'll be surfing in cold 56 degree Santa Cruz water in a thick wetsuit!
This board looks much better than my older Moku that has been through a lot. Guess you need the cool fin for avoiding obstacles, everyone seems so calm despite the traffic!
We used to say "Lucky you live Hawaii". I first went in 1954 - left, came back - and then lived there for 23 years while going to UH, teaching and raising a family, etc. I miss Zippys. I live in NJ - a very nice place, but not nearly as nice as Honolulu.
I used to surf this exact spot 50 years ago .. but at night.. Why .. because there was no crowd at all and you could easily see the shape of the wave ahead in the shimmer of hotel lights.. it was by far the best way to do it.. 😊🤪
I bumped into these videos, I realized that (without a doubt)this is the most beautiful way a woman can appear…surfing!! Nothing else in the world could showcase the feminine physique as surfing the oceans of the earth! The men actually look supercool also. The water, the fitness, the bodies and THE FUN!,,, I have lived in NJ all my life, so, I missed out on all this.
yeah jenny!!
ripping it!!

Swimming for board keeps one in good shape 👍. Long swim to the beach ⛱

born and raised on that island enjoy watching wikes and it almost makes me want to return home although I'm happy in san diego thanks for the vids...
Sometimes the obstacle course is fun on a small day. I love playing pinball in the surf.
A couple of great sets you recorded there!!
It wasn’t as big a Surfline was hyping it up to be but it definitely got better out there after the drone shoot in the afternoon
Thank you Amy glad you enjoyed the video ❤️❤️
Locals, first time surfers, girl rippers. It’s all fun out front. Perfect day, blonde killin it! 🤙🏽

Always love your videos and the music you add to it..... Can I ask you what the first song was in this video? Sounds like Black Coffee....
Hey Peter, Mahalo for the support 😊 It's by Ngoni Haze - Cycler

ABUNAI😆😂😂
The girl is good in traffic!
She's good. Who is she?
This looks like a video game - is it real footage or generated- if the latter it’s impressive
Actually it’s impressive whatever
Haha it's a digital camera so that's why it looks like a 3D video game 🎥
@@revealhawaiimedia808 Wow - some next level shit - that’s cool - next thing virtual world where you’re the one riding - that’s coming for sure
It appears that the majority of the surfing involves dodging obstacles .

Decent crowd. I imagine the summer tourists are gone and many Town surfers are at Makaha or the North Shore.
Not entirely but almost
Kook city 😂 1 waver per person you duds stop dropping in
