Absolutely! Surfing should not be a competition against other people or the waves... rather it should be a symbiotic experience. A way to be at one with the forces of the infinite omniverse... to be in harmony with the sea. No supernatural b.s. or "spiritual " nonsense... just the reality of the natural.
Summer of ‘73. Flat rolling waves of Waikiki, sparkling lights from the shore... We brought out our long boards and did this on moonlit nights. The memories made my heart flutter. Thanks.
As someone who learned to surf in New Hampshire (of all places), I now spend my retirement years surfing around Santa Cruz. The first time I caught a wave at Waikiki and looked up at Diamond Head, it was like a surreal dream. Like someone had put me in a post card. Beautiful doesn’t come close to describing this place! Thanks for posting! P.S. And no wet suit!!!🏄♂️🏄♂️
I was hangin’ on the shoulder on the 27th out at Queens (and can see myself in a number of the shots) and agree with many … ‘Da locals make it look so easy!’ … Mahalo for the great footage - from the water and from the air!

You girls has so much fun. I miss surfing. I used to be a big time surfer in CA and Oahu north shore but I wore my neck out from to much. Two neck operations, fusion and artificial disc replacement now puts me in the drone world watching. Great video. Aloha

It seems so funny to other people,but the practicalities of living on the island, keeping a job, and most of all ,even if I did, what am I gonna do paddle out into the fastest heaviest waves in the world? Back then, da boyz had all those spots wired and in full possession.i had heard stories, y'know, not always pleasant. I liked it in town. I never had a problem with anyone,in the water or in the street.
It's a GoPro but we can't reveal the drone we use until after Winter, all I can say is that the Air2s, phantom 4, and mini 3 are all great drones if you know how to color grade.
