that's good, the better it turns out and the more comfortable you feel doing it that means that you are comfortable with using your tablet ! well done
I just got a Wacom bamboo tablet, and I really wanted to start learning how to do digital art. Your videos are great and informative, and not to long and drawn out. Thanks for making these!
thanks so much! My major problem with transitioning to digital was creating the right brush settings, and you sir helped me tremendously! Please make more. :)
Thanks so much! I loved that you showed how to set the brushes. Very helpful!
Really great tut for shading and getting light values right. :)
glad to hear that would love to see some images of how you guys get on ! if you guys got time uploaded it somewhere and send me the link !
Here's a tip for those making the initial circle: You can also use the paintbrush tool to paint a large dot (I suggest an opacity of 100% and using a solid dot paintbrush when doing this), then lock the area where you paint by selecting the layer with the dot and clicking on the square by "lock" in the layers menu (there's also a brush, 4-arrow, and lock symbol in the same area). This way you can paint without worrying about going outside the lines of the dot!
thanx mines turned out great, this my 1st time using my tablet tooooooo!
I just got the intous5 thank you for the videos i was looking for old videos that i used to learn in the past but there gone
Great Help :D
Lovely video! Could you please tell me what tablet do you have? I'd like to buy one but i can't decide which brand. Thanks :)
I use a wacom bamboo pen and touch :)
Thanks!
yeah should work the same apart from it wont have the touch ability
im thinking about buying a tablet to start drawing and practice, how does it work with Photoshop CS6? i just plug it into the usb port and i use it on table? or need to have photoshop in the tablet it self to use it?
how do you get your colour spread evenly, when I paint over a line I've already painted it creates darker patch in the middle, this is really annoying when shading and can make it impossible, how do u get the colours to blend not create mechanical darker values in the middle???
The tablet isn't like an iPad. It's a flat slab that you draw on and it shows up on the screen.
Isn't shadow right under sphere (right under reflected light) must be lighter, cos light reflects from sphere to it's shadow also
