I printed one of these out and it’s actually okay. I plan to do a full review and maybe even a vs kind video between different designs. I’m designing one of my own right now too, it’s a big print but I think it’s gonna come out good.
@@ggaub that’s my deal, I have the design, but if it fails I’m gonna cry. The slicer estimated it to be a 1 day and 9 hour print using just under 250g of plastic. Failing could get expensive.
@@Gothfield Yup. I'm not sure what I'd be more disappointed by... failing the print process, or not actually working well as a didge. ;-) Probably the latter.
Thanks for the vid man I was wanting to print a didg cause I think they sound awesome, but the prints I found on thingiverse where gonna take like 2 days to print wack where as this print only 17 hours for the E, again really appreciate the link cheers!
If you just need to take the inside edge off for comfort, I'd grab a cheap deburring tool from harbor freight or amazon and go to town on it. Any blade will work, but a deburring tool is designed for that kind of thing, and will be way easier and more consistent. A knife would likely result in a lot of edges that aren't any better than the original print. Otherwise, try some beeswax to forum up a new mouthpiece like they do for real didges. I was able to modify the model to have a smaller mouthpiece opening, but I haven't tried doing a larger one. It would be a lot trickier to do that to the model file.
This is awesome! But, for some reason the .stl files in the download are only 1kb and they won't load in cura. and I cant find them anywhere else... Is it possible to purchase a copy from you?
I'd be happy to email them to you if you send me an email, but I just went to the site again and downloaded a fresh copy. The zip file shows all the appropriate files with appropriate sizes. Maybe your download was incomplete or something? If you have some kind of anti-virus, you might need to tell it to leave the file alone.
Great video - Thanks!
Wow, I didn't even know these existed...sound great!
Great video, hope you're doing well bro.
I need one of those! I gotta say I would love to drive my wife crazy on the road with that! Great vid. Will be following!

I've printed the C version now, and I like the tone better. I'll do a video of all my didges. Sadly, no REAL ones yet.

Any tips on rounding the edges of the mouthpiece and widening the diameter? Thank you

Where can I find the models? Would you be willing to share the didgebox model?
