Every time I see an alligator I get the weebie jeebies! I know they have a right to live too, but they are scary. Thanks to all your great close up videos, I'm getting more educated about them. They are fascinating....... from a distance. Thank you for braving the swamp and giving us another high quality video! Take care! 🐊🌿🐊🌿🐊 (I feel sorry for the alligator with the hurt mouth /jaw)
I completely understand! I was very nervous when first walking the trails and even more nervous when I started photographing/taping what I was seeing...always wondering when there was an imminent crossing "am I too close?" I've grown to truly respect and appreciate the alligators, their resilience, and their long history. When I see their halting movements as they begin to cross the trail and become aware of my proximity, it is so clear that they don't want any trouble and just want to go about their business. I'm so glad my alligator videos have been helpful and that I can share what I see with you! :)
I'm so glad you respect them and give them room, and you are not one of those "extreme " people that have to take a chance and get in too close for the once in a lifetime shot! We want you around to make more of your top notch videos! I guess you could use a powerful zoom lens, but I'm sure you know what I mean. 😊🐊
@@wildthunderbird absolutely! I want to share what wildlife is really like, so it's important that I stay in the background and appear as non-threatening as possible. Yes, my zoom makes that possible - grateful for that!
