I have a 2010 335xi manual coupe with the N54.
2011 came with N55.
@@JD2.0N54 N55 was put into production cars starting in 2009. Although, some models like my own 2009 335i still had the N54. Theres a 50/50 shot he has an N54 or N55.

Decrepitude Garage the key with owning a 335 is emptying your wallet everytime you get paid to upgrade, maintain, fix, etc especially with a higher mileage one. mine has almost 180k on it but its been properly maintained and drives like a brand new car. its also been stock its whole life but I plan on going fbo for now on stock turbos then eventually the plan is single turbo.

What is the purpose of having that stock boost solenoid connected? I just went single and was wondering if I needed one plugged in...
I didn't on my flash only, and didnt throw a code. Both banks show same wgdc. So guessing it dont matter.

@@mr.valentino2824 If you check your engine codes you will probably have a waste gate solenoid control circuit fault. Its probably just not throwing the light because its not directly emissions related.
