- Although low kicks are a highly effective tool within both MMA and Muay Thai, there is adaption needed between the two rule sets. Especially when fighting southpaw (or orthodox if you are the southpaw) opponents who are using a wider, more movement based stance or dynamic.

Student was sometimes throwing his lead leg kick too high think he was landing on the glutes.
Great trick though I normally use it to set up a side body kick, but honestly the leg would be brutal and they would probably stop pushing forward after you miss kicks after a couple of these.
