    Excellent perspective Niels! I gave up Facebook over two years ago and it's been great. As far as pool goes, I find that I've improved a lot more at mentally dealing with taking a loss against a high level opponent. I try and see it as a learning opportunity and just appreciate the great execution that I'm watching as opposed to being negative about it. There are no problems, just opportunities :) Keep up the great work you do sir!

    Hey Neils im Raffy from Manila Philippines yes you are right. But honestly me comparing myself to you in a POSITIVE way has been an inspiration. Im 36yrs old, and i started playing pool since i was 12 when Efren won the world 9 ball championship. But sadly from then to now, my game never really ascended. So pool just become just another game to me. Until late 2022 when i decided to play pool again, this time ive been more serious to elevate my game just as high as i can reach. So i started watching tutorials in YT, and you chanel is one of my favorite. Until i watched 1 of your videos when you divulged that your left eye is handicaped. I was really shocked, because since i first saw you in 2001, you became one of my favorite foreign player because of your potting ability and your efficiency. So when i learned that your vision is handicaped, it made my desire to improve burns more. I said to myself, howcome someone with vision handicap become one of the best of alltime while me with 20-20 vision on my both eyes couldnt even ascend my game. Now everytime when i practice solitarily, i now practice my stroke and my fundamentals more inspired and driven to improve and never waste my Time while i still can improve. I may no longer be a professional pool player in my lifetime. But at the very least, i want to be able to be in intermediete and at least to be able to runout a 10ball on table. Now first things first, im trying to correct my fundamentals and at least lessen my unforced missed gimme shots. I look forward to be a better pool player that i am today a year from now. And i wish to meet you my idol someday. Goodluck in your games. Godbless Neils.

    Efficient, true and effective content thank you. Also, nice to see you on the Billiard Network, great episodes. And, hopefully Matchroom already hired you for cutaway Mosconi commentary. Can not wait for Mosconi '22! I know you're going to be back on that team just so much amazing talent at your level but you will be back on that team and you will go beast mode. Just remember deserve has got nothing to do with it so keep walking the walk. Amazing player, teacher and human. You are a rich man Niels, thanks again for spreading the wealth.

    Hey I got one for you... I'm sure the tournaments the pros participate in, go for long hours into the morning right? What do you do for your tiredness?
    I think you will have to put in perspective, that you are talking to people who work for a living. I get up at 9-10am, do some jobs, go home and get ready for pool, and play as long as I have an opponent. I'm usually asleep by 1am.
    Some of these tournaments run till 3-6am and damn it's a grind!
    I'm thinking, some of the same tool you know of that could be used when dealing with jet lag,when traveling over seas could help.

    • @NielsTheTerminatorFeijen
      @NielsTheTerminatorFeijen  2 года назад +2

      I think in the US the tournaments might last a little longer than here in Europe... we're mostly done at midnight at the latest. Still can be a long day, if your first match was a 9 am...
      Regarding jetlag: I always remember to workout, get fresh air, eat healthy and get my sleep!! Those would be my best advises to be honest. I understand that for people who also have a job next to playing pool it is very difficult to find the time and sometimes also the energy, on the other hand doing something you love should give you energy back!!!! Maybe a good start is to look at it that way :-)
      I'm a professional pool player, dad of 2 kids, husband, RUclipsr, owner of a platform from where I sell my Mental Training Courses for Competitive Pool Players (terminator-college.com/) and also have my own webshop (terminator-shop.com/)... so I guess we are all pretty busy ;)
      Try to be the best version of you and I'm sure you will feel more energy and power!!
      All the best,
      Niels

    Hey Niels,
    I was wondering something crazy: Would you like to play at the Munich City Classics with me as partner from Dec. 28th to 29th🤓 I would pay you 250 €, 30 € entry fee, drinks and food and you may keep the money we might win (1st price is 800 €). It's a big dream for me playing a double with a real champ once in a lifetime😍
    (Feels like asking the girl you can never have for a date out of nowhere😂)
