Good breakdown on the FNaF movie timeline. I'd give this movie an 8/10 can't wait for the second one. I've got a feeling Henery is Mike and Abby's dad in this universe. That's why Garret was kidnapped.

Well novel has come out in certain countries Edit: Welp -In (presumably) the 1940s, Afton was born -Abby was born to replace Garrett but Mrs. Schmidt went postal when her child turned out to be a girl and the disappearance drove her to catatonic depression - Jeff is ten years older than Max, who is in college for social sciences - Jeff and Carl did time - Hank and his wife, Darlene are Maxine and Jeff’s neighbours - Carl is Hank’s son - Mike’s dad is alive - he left in 1993 after Mike’s 18th birthday - Jane also wants Abby because her father ( yeah we get Michael’s grandpa lore) gave Abby a trust fund after the dad disappeared
The last point is what striked me odd when reading the novel. Why would the grandfather give Abby a trust fund but not Mike? Was it because Mike became her guardian? Or because he was 18 at the time? I mean I don't think that Mike is an Afton in the movies, it seems highly unlikely and it makes more sense for the Schmidts to be the movies version of the Emily family, but still... its such a weird detail
Technically Scott can say it’s “cannon” but that cannon would be a alternate timeline. This movie is not connected to the games besides a few similar story points.

Why would Henry not exist in one of 3-4 continuities? there's two owners in the og novel trilogy, the games, and Fazbear Frights.
