The Story for this Mama Emily, made me pause and go on my knees to the throne of grace to attain the favor that spoke for her. I am moved, touched and inspired. I am provoked, awakened and empowered. Every time she mentiones God, i get shivers. Mama Emily, you have just been used by God to wake a Namibian lady up from her deep sleep of discouragement. Ms Lynn, Thank you. You are a heaven sent. God increase you and enlarges your territory, you are our medium of hope from God. I glorify God Almighty
I love how she has mentioned God a million times in her story!🇲🇼
She said "' what you say to God in private HE hears''
She gave me my first job in Australia when I first met her I was awe by her beauty back then when she saw my c.v she came personal to see which Kenyan gal is this ....God bless u Emily

I had just done my kcpe and that was the end of my education.Things hasn't been easy currently working as ananny in the middle East while my boy stay with my mom.my mom not being the nicest guardian it's what breaks my heart but I always see my son as leader.I have never regretted having him.I love him to bits

It’s lovely to see Emily here, I know her very well. We lived together in the US before they moved to Australia with her lovely family. Her hubby has stood with her through thick n thin. What a wonderful story from grass to Grace
As much as Emily has faced tough circumstances, a lot of grace has apparently followed her over the years too. Her mother got a much-needed job in the Kenya Airforce unexpectedly, because Jomo Kenyatta suddenly said he wanted tall women in the army (Jomo liked tall women, eh). She got the full scholarship from the Japanese by mere chance. Her grandmother who raised her got an entire hospital bill of $120k (over KShs 18m, at today's exchange rate) waived in the US, again by chance, because they randomly wanted to use her grandmother's experience as a patient as a case study for teaching. Her daughter is on a full tennis scholarship, so she's not paying any tuition for a top uni in the US. etc etc
God's blessings are plenty and random , he is not limited by circumstances.
@@chikaabtwn2244 Amen.
God is not limited
God did it all. No such thing as "chance" With God all things is possible.
"The only person who can stop me from achieving is me. Never let anyone's perception of me affect me.' What grace Emily Korir. Lynn as usual exceptional interview.
Wow, Emily was my desk mate in high school, amazing!!!! All the best to her, that laughter reminds me so much of our high school days, she never actually talked about her pains and struggles,am happy she is doing so well, though we haven't been in touch for decades😂 ,and for your information, she is very very good hearted, and what she says about caring for her grand mum is very true, she should have been a nurse😂
Emily Korir is surely a product of God's grace.....thank you Lynn for bringing to us such an amazing and inspiring interview...
What an amazing conversation of Amazing Grace
God is good🙏🏾
Sister Emily your story took me thru all the emotions
I cried l laughed l was amazed by your humility.
You are a beautiful human being both inside and out, a very gifted and intelligent amazing mom wife daughter sister friend and you are here for a reason and really serving your purpose in life. God bless you and your lovely family. I'm going thru changes in my career and needed to hear your story of never giving up. Starting your Masters while in rehab post the stroke wow wow wow that is determination and knowing who you are👏👏👏
All the very best❤❤❤
Wow this lady has totally coached me, my Life perspective... I love her, humility, soft spoken, lynn this is therapy.
The way she talks about her husband... I pray that God gives me a man like this.
"Leave an environment that only invites excellence." Emily, wow!! Such an inspirational lady!!
This has to be one of the most powerful interviews i have watched this year. And the timing is just perfect👌.Beautiful woman with a beautiful family and story.I tap into your blessings girl.🙏.
This lady has a heart of gold.....thanks to her mom and grandmother for not rejecting/abandon her ❤
This interview is very inspiring. It made me see people with disabilities in a different light. God bless you, Emily and Lynn.
Emily’s story has really encouraged me. Her life is so full of God’s Grace, it’s amazing. I’m going through a tough patch but now I know that God has not abandoned me…..something great is cooking behind the scenes. I’m truly blessed by this powerful testimony. More Grace to Emily and her wonderful family
This interview has been so timely for me. Yani Lynn the way you have blessed me through Emily's story ...I even have no words for this.
Yenyewe we are no Divine accident, we may have been considered as biological accident but God changes all that into sth beautiful. Emily you lived to tell this beautiful story for us to draw courage and strength to keep going. From rape, studying and prospering abroad and now to giving back to the community in a big way by touching the differently abled persons. Just wow. 'Stroke of Luck' it was. At times bad things must happen to us for greater things to take place. 🙏
Let's gather here to listen to what Lynn has blessed us with. What else do you want on this Christmas season other than listening to this. Merry Christmas Lynn
I am not giving up rising my kids single handedly for the longest. I am inspired.
Indeed as the good book says "The stone that is rejected by builders becomes the chief cornerstone". Her story is so inspirational.
Emily is a trailblazer in Disability sector, she has given so many of us the platform to support the lives of the people with disabilities to live well and thrive, working with her is a blessing, she is the super CEO and we are all proud of what she is doing and giving back to the community. The story is very inspiring, the story is enlightening every now and then I listen to it and will never tire listening for the many times given the chance. Emily, keep up the good work, wishing you God's favour, be blessed abundantly.
What a lovely interview. Foe her sensory loss: ask her to get clove oil (mafuta ya karafuu) and have her massage the side that has the sensory deficits daily. :) Inspiring encouraging story. Made me cry. Oh, and she should consider taking a teaspoon of Cayenne mixed with a tsp of turmeric daily to help prevent any strokes or other cardiovascular related ailments. God bless!
What a wonderfully courageous and intelligent woman taught by a great African grandmother with natural African sense! Stay blessed. My love to you and your grandmother.
Another inspiration story, thank you Lynn and Emily. I feel led to service those with disability and this year I Met two little boys that can't walk or talk but they look healthy being raised by a single Father. I do meet them once in while and give in little support but I feel in my heart that with access to resources they can walk and speak like other children. I am praying to God to lead me and guide me on how best I can support them. I know truly that the grace is sufficient and in due time God will show away.
1.Never allow anyone description define your reality.
2.its just ME,that can limit myself.
3.Kindness begins from your own family.
Have watched your shows, but this one,was a unique one.
Congratulations Lynn for bringing inspiration and rebuilding stories.

Great great job you're doing Lynn. Am in the UK and there's a day i was working a night shift in the hospital and heard one of the patients watching one of your videos on her bed! You may never know the impact you have on this side of life. You are doing an amazing job! Keep operating in your purpose. Blessings 🎉🎉
Hi Lynn! I resonate with the advocacy of Emily for persons with disabilities. I got a call to work with children with disabilities. I have been working with children with disabilities since 1996. But what has given me fulfilment and purpose is working with refugee children with neurodevelopmental disabilities. A group of children who are often left out in education. Emily you and your family are a blessing. Hope you extend your services to Kakuma refugee camp. Especially livelihoods for refugee caregivers of children with neurodevelopmental disabilities
Hi Truphena,,, I've been wanting to do such jobs, working for the vulnerable. Where do I get such opportunities?
Waoh. I will buy it for my 19 yr old daughter who is epileptic and had many challenges in highschool. Single moms we are covered by the blood of Jesus❤.
Listening to this when we are almost going to a new year was just the best decision....i feel like a Germany machine on a full tank and fully serviced. So help me God !
I grew up in Rhonda Nakuru and have always had a heart to bring a change in that area. Hopefully I can get to link up with you some day !
Much respect for her husband 👏 .
Very inspiring story.
This was truly miraculous. God can do anything.
@4328 God does everything niulize.
This has to be my favourite interview so far. I'm so inspired and encouraged! My take home is "give and give generously." The more you give, the more you receive. Wow!
What a good interview to end the year! She is the typical “chosen one” and I’m so inspired.
I would have loved to hear about her therapy and how she regained so much function after suffering a stroke. Strokes are the number 1 cause of disability around the world. Please bring her back for an indepth interview on this. Thanks so much Emily for sharing your story and thanks Lynn for your wonderful platform 🎉
I keep moving close to my laptop just to ensure no word goes unheard clearly...I lived in Rhonda Nakuru,I'm an ICU nurse,I live and work some minutes drive away from London,i was never shown any love as a child...I've previously processed for Australia...such stuff keep me glued me to my laptop screen...Lynn Ngugi may God bless you...Your shows keep me dreaming and refocusing 🙏
Lynn you are not just doing a show but you are God sent in your generation to be His voice. Emily story is such an inspiration. I am a Pastor and am really inspired not to give up in His work. God bless you Lynn 🎉❤

Her experiences with God are exceptional. My faith is lifted.
I agree. Her story is like that of Esther. God's favour was with her from the get go. This story and that of Wmbugu are spiritually inspired
Most motivational story. From Grass to Grace!!! This can only be God!!!!
Hi team Lynn. Emily's story is very inspirational. She is a believer who believes it has taken the hand God to restore her health and success. The husband is also very supportive. Keep up
She has the most beautiful and graceful voice. It's an amazing and inspiring story❤🎉
I'm glad I watched it. God blessed Emily. Having a daughter who struggled to accept herself for having a deaf ear, I will have her watch this.❤.
No situation is permanent no matter what you are through
Lynn thank you for todays guest, Emily ,she is a natural mentor with full of grace and humility. What a journey she has come and and the blessing she received from he grandmother, he Mum being a resilient worrior fighting for her only child Emily... And for her husband, God spared Emily for him, he was the person that was going to take care of Emily ,love her and cherrish in goodtimes and bad times.Their love story is an example of being patient and that God timing, their love for honouring God 1st and their parents 1st is what that made them thrive even in trying times. thank you Emily for sharing your story with us.I will order 7 books asap. 👏👏🙏🙏🙏
I'm watching you all the way from Namibia 🇳🇦 SADC SOUTHERN AFRICAN COUNTRIES, and I'm very much impressed by the beautiful lady. I'm telling you if you want to be someone one day you have to have a story. Like in my case I'm the first born to get a degree from my mom and my grandmother too and I paved the way for the young generation from my mother and grandmother now as I'm talking here I'm a retired meme just last year. I just want to compliment you younger lady well done and you are really blessed. To listen to your story it is very tense ee. If your grandmother was not there what would happen really. I thank her very much for standing for her daughter and grandgirl. Yes I'm agreed with the word of God which SAYS WHEN JESUS SAY YES NOBODY CAN SAY NO.THAT WAS GOD'S WILL FOR YOU TO BE BORN IN THAT, TO SHOW THAT GOD'S POWER IS UNLIMITED DEAR!BLESSED YOU WITH your family ee. Lynn thank you very much for the good research you are doing ee!blessed 👍 you indeed I'm always blessed by your story.

Thanks Lynn and team for the inspiring interview!! I am a stroke survivor and very much attest to it ... I did go back for my Masters Degree and to date, many people doubt my experience but I love it that way because *It does not define me as a person* Keeping doing that great work Emily and family! Kudos, kudos and A Very Merry and Blessed Christmas to all #LNNNetwork🥰🥰💓💞🙏🙏🙌🙌🤝
Me too I survived stroke since last year but God healed me
A very inspiring episode Lynn...my take "never let somebody else"s perspective of you become your reality"..I love the fact that Emily n the husband acknowledge that what they have become is the doing of God. May God continue honouring and blessing them. Also continue mentoring the young people who get so desperate when they are thru school yet jobs are not available. Keep up the good work🎉🎉

To quote Lynn, my people Who is God????
This interview has blessed my soul. The Grace, the resilience, the genuine humanity of a family to each other and others, the continued praising of the most high God!!!! This woman and everyone she is linked to are blessed and will continue to be blessed.
If that is not impressive enough, this woman, an award winning global CEO is sitting on the yellow couch and quoting stories of other people who have sat on the same chair. The fact that she is such a big deal and she takes time to watch LNN and pays tribute to our great Lynn Ngugi (Also a big deal). It is the respect for me.
God works in mysterious ways.
Well dear, l can see the story of your grandma in your life as you have kept on referring to her. Thank you, she mentored you.
Our African elderly persons are a bank of wisdom. What can we do to sustain those prescious wisdom memories before those accounts dry??
Wow! Pain to gain, story to glory, no situation is permanent. God has used you to glorify His name. This is also to those who do away with their kids. Haki mtoto si kidonda.
