I agree. I prefer the Danish Royal Family over my own British Royal Family. It is a pity that the French and Russians didn't have a constitutional monarchy; even if, like the Greeks, they later voted to abolish it. Much bloodshed could have been avoided.

Actually his Danish is quite excellent, if you consider the fact that he learned Danish as a second or third language and that some people are not very good at learning new languages. Also, if you listen at any of his speeches or any of the documentaries about the royal family, you will realize that he has an amazing vocabulary that even exceeds that of many Danish people, including myself. For most Danish people learning English is easy, but to learn French and German can be hard. If your language skills are only reviewed based on pronunciation, then i dare to say that many Danish people don't speak proper Danish anymore due to incorrect pronunciation.
I think it takes much effort and bravery to speak in another language and I think people should praise him and encourage him instead of focusing on minor details such as perfect pronunciation :)

@@nenisguevaragomez8122 I think it's not so much that we can't pronounce the language, it's more the difference in pronunciation and intonation between the generations. I'm not sure how to explain it though, I think that the syllables gets mashed together and some endings are not pronounced clearly today.

It was an inappropriate and morganatic marriage, the heiress of one of the oldest kingdoms in Europe marries some commoner, with no lineage and everyone thinks it's normal, not even her father, the king, had the good sense to forbid it.

    • @thiagomoreira5897

@potatoes Firstly he was a fake French noble, his family did not officially have any title in the French peerage, moreover, at the time of his birth and marriage France no longer recognized the nobility, even if it did, Henry would have no title. Second that even if his title existed, he would not be suitable for a Crown Princess of a Kingdom, you don't know the meaning of morganatic marriage do you?. And one more thing, if he had nobility by paternal lineage and his father and patrilineal ancestors had titles, his maternal family is entirely plebeian.
