Retakes are Rens way to pay tribute to artists that he loves and/or that influenced him. He might use original lyrics as he did here or only use the instruments and put his lyrics onto it. NAS retake to release next on Thursday.

He's so far outside of the box and in his own lane... he's untouchable (in my opinion). BUT most Renegades have even more respect for his personality/genuine heart and his ability to relate to his fans as an additional bonus to his talent. He's the same in his music personality, interviews, live streams, social media... It just elevates him, and he's a refreshing soul in today's society! He's always live in premier chats, then if he drops authentic tracks (not usually retakes) he goes live on Twitch & YT, if you can catch any of those, SO MUCH FUN!!

“Sting Jr?!”…I think Ren was always ready to sing, “Message In A Bottle” all these years. As a big Police fan, I am blown away by his voice in this song. Good reaction btw.

I can't recall or know the persons name, but in a previous reaction I watched someone left a comment like this -- definition of talent just shows a picture of Ren - - something to that effect. It's perfect description definition of talent, pure unadulterated talent is just pure Ren doing what Ren does. No matter the genre, he is his own genre and plays with genre's to make them his own.

Love your reaction! I've thought about this. The best description of Ren to me is that he is a musical visionary. From the scenes he chooses, to his direction and music production & mixing and his overall love and total embodiment of Music as a whole. That's what makes him so captivating. He makes us feel connected to him as if he's performing directly to me.

On a trip back to Brighton over a 10 day period, he and the other artists procued this. I would buy and listen to a whole album of music like this. PLease of please Ren, the 4 of you make that album. Music touches my soul rarely; however, Ren can sing anything and like a Pied Piper I am lead away to my happy doom.

Love this retake so much. So much in fact, I painted a scene using a snapshot photo from this video. I posted the finished piece, and Ren saw it. He even shared it on his instagram story. It’s hard to not be inspired by this guy 😊

His talent is all home grown due to being so ill for so long and confined to his room, enabling him to teach himself everything he could get his hands on. He's a master at live and one takes probably due to his busking background.

Ren covers /re-imagines lots of people's songs. When he does that he usually uses the term "retake." Back on 74 is originally by an English group called Jungle. Ren has ALL the talent. He has risen above being a musician. He is truly an artist.

Ren took 10 days away from his treatment, a couple of months ago. Whilst home he decided to put something together and this was the result. He wrote and arranged his verson, got the people together and rehearsed it. Asked one of his local pubs if he could film in there. Set up the audio, directed the video and did all the production. All in about a week! It was recorded live, in a single take, of course! As for the performance itself, well... Ren never ceases to amaze! With Ren that phrase really is true, rather than mere empty words. An incredible voice! A musical genius! A once in a generation talent! :)

Ren comes from Wales... so did Shirley Bassey and Tom Jones. It's something in the water there 😂😂 nice reaction. This was filmed at the Victoria bar in Brighton on the UK coast. Also the setting for The Who film production "Quadraphenia" also featuring Sting. Loads of influences.

I Bought the Police Album in 1979 / 80 This is better. In fact I Bought a Stero Record player ,to play it .and the old Lady fr downstairs was knocking on my Flat door in 5 minutes. Telling me the music was to loud .I'd not even got the Record player out the Box yet ,and fitted a plug to it.I just OK love won't happen again. Bless her woolly tights .

The big mistake people do is try to put him in a category...Ren dident grow up wanting to be a rapper or pu k or grunge he just wanted to be musician N that's how all music should be people shouldn't do just 1 kind of music ...imagin what eminem could of dune with a guitar ....he breaking the labeling of music and I hope others will follow that path ...aside that I herd 1 song he did 187 ...1 takes ...and then picked take number 2 ...lol to much
