Thank you so much for not putting music to this video. All the natural sounds and view were fantastic. I loved pretending I was riding your bike through the mountains! Made my day.
In reviewing this bike for a potential purchase, this is a great video to get the experience. Great scenery and also nice paint scheme on the W800. Thanks for the ride!
Grüße von ehemaligem Icks-ess-Betreiber, tolles Video, fahre gern mit, irgendwie vertraut, hört sich bei bestimmten Frequenzen beinahe etwas nach Harley an. Danke!!!
Fantastic ride. I am tempting to buy a 2016 but I am too concerned about the brakes. In many reviews I read they are adequate. Do you feel unsecured at all with the breaking system on this bike? Anytime it has let you down thinking I wish it had ABS?
The brakes are adequate for the type of riding the W800 is intended for. It required a good pull to emergency brake but it stops well. It is very different to twin rotor sportbike brakes but not dangerous. No ABS needed imo.
@@dermur68 Thanks a lot, man! What about virbrations? Are they realy annoyng as some wloggers are saying ? Please don't blame for being too insistent! I love this motorcycle but it's not available for a test ride in my country.
@Mihai Mihai Well, I'm not just saying this because I own one but I never thought that vibration was an issue. Having said that, the only other bike I owned was a single cylinder so the W800 is very smooth by comparison! The only vibration I notice are on the mirrors a little. I never felt much through the bars or pegs. I'm trying to think of things that I don't like about the W800...it's difficult. Maybe, for 800cc, I'd expect a little more power but my bike has no problem at all doing 170kph. The torque is mostly in the low revs so it's great for getting up to cruising speed (100-120kph) from almost any gear. I love the way it looks and it's definately more authentic than the new "Triumphs". The build quality is really excellent too.
@@dermur68 Thank you so much, man! I appreciate a lot your complete and effective answer. I own a Honda NC 750 X and I'm thinking about buying a second bike with a classic design. From all I have seen W800 is the best option. Beautiful shape combined with the famous Kawaski reliability at a decent price makes it a perfect choice. Wish you only safe and nice rides!
Hello, there are no issues with cooling as I know. The bike should go up to 180kmh I think but the fastest I went was 160km/h once. Have a good time and stay healthy! 😃
@@Simmireiter I've got mine to 170kph and I reckon could hit 180kph easily enough with enough road! Very stable at that speed too. Feel like it's on rails.
THANK YOU for a video with NO MUSIC. We get to experience the scenery and sound of motorcycling. Very much appreciated exactly as you posted it.

Hi! Thanks for the video! Do you think this bike's suitable for a 1.80 m tall person? Wish you all the best!
I'm about 1.8m and I have a 2015 W800. Size is perfect. Seat is nice and low so I can put both feet flat. Very comfortable ride.
