I think the monthly expenditures are badly mis-tracked/reported.... what about Maid? Phone/Broadband/Dish/OTT/Electricity bills? Petrol/Cab? Meds/Supplements? Toiletries/detergents/make-up? I think easily 30%-40% expenditure is not counted through these items

As a couple who earns a Fixed salary of 25 LPA + 25LPA = 50LPA doesn't translate into 3L per month. My wife and i put together pay around 10L Tax . And there is also PF that gets cut. In-hand is around only 2.9L types. The most important killer is tax as you start earning more.

    • @animeshsrivastava8773
      @animeshsrivastava8773 2 года назад

I agree the statement of getting 3l in hand us farce. Tax and pf will easily chunk off 65-75k then pf another 15-18k that sets the in hand to around 2.1 to 2.3lkhs pm

This guy geniunely knows what he is talking about. Especially his advice on NCD's. NCD are lowest order debt obligation's without any backing from any collateral. In case of the NCD issuer going bust you will loose the entire invested amount and the company will loose only their brand reputation. that's why NCD pay significantly highrer rate of return than Current market rate to offset the risk and attract investors.

This will give us a glimpse of whether people really follow advices or they also need other things e.g a regular mentor etc .
Also how are they doing now in term sof finance improvement or decay etc ?

If you want to buy a car, buy through Commercial lease vehicle agreement with your company ( only certain higher bands people eligible). Here whatever EMI for car will be directly deducted from your salary which makes your taxable income less..
Buy I would say don't increase your lifestyle expenses proportional to your growth in salary..
Salary can not grow forever. Their is certain phase of your life when you get stagnates.
Once you increase your lifestyle by increasing expenses then it is very difficult to adjust back to past lifestyle for bad situation.
So increase the lifestyle in conservative manner....

why people are so fascinated with marriage and its spendings, i know it sounds almost off the world to say marriage is about the two person not about feeding 1000 people, lala party.... it can be accomplished with only family and friends whom you are surrounded ... which is almost minimal...(frugally under 200thousand max) ... so I feel we practically dont need to plan for a financial steps for million rupee wedding 😅

  • @tabletclassbepolitical

I didn't save or invest money at the initial years. I travelled a lot, bought a house of my own. At the time of marriage, since I didn't save money for the wedding, and it was Covid time, I went for a simple one without taking help from anyone and fixed it under 50k.I know, I earn less and have started investing only four years back, while I am in 10 th year of my job, still I have no regret. You don't need to be a conjus in daily expenses like this couple does to save money for one beautiful yet simple day of your life. Moreover, I shall not have kid, so, I don't need to save money for their future too. So, little investment, more reading and travelling, a simple house of my own and car is enough for a comfortable life.

This is a philosophical question - What is the purpose of life. So, how you spend your life depends on how you answer that question. To me there is one purpose that nature had for me - procreate to keep the genetic link alive, and ensure the offsprint survives & thrives. The second purpose is not of nature, but of nurture - i.e. A purpose as told by parents and society - To do your best in life. i.e. Enjoy while contributing to society - by learning, working improving the overall standard of living - which may result in improvement of society in general. I guess most people thrive to do the 2nd, but many people now a days do not want to do the purpose nature had for us.. :)

We r going towards a low interest (home rates) regime like in the US, Inflation is always gonna be there, real estate is also gonna sky rocket in coming 5 years.
One can go for premium brands (godrej properties, lodha, etc) and start buying under construction properties, dont go for "bada" ghar buy according to ur capacity, use leverage from the bank to build multiple properties..

I wish you guys would stay married for a lifetime, but it's also appropriate to have a prenuptial agreement.

Itna kamana enough nhi hai bangalore m, everything is super expensive. Its not tier 2 city jis m 1-2 lak kamana is good enough. Flat cost is min 1 crore. I bought a normal mask everywhere it's 5 rupees but in bangalore people are selling for 10. This city give and takes back money

I really dont think only 50k expenditure with 30k rent for this couple is practical. In bangalore, traveling in ola/ your own vehicle is 500rs easily. I mean even a weekend getway is 10k. I think they have not expressed all expenses. The estimation is not accurate

More than half of the people commenting doesn't have clue about how taxes are deducted, what effect does higher basic pay has on in hand and tax burden, how are they being robbed by give very less basic pay as %of total cash salary and getting so small in PF whose returns are similar to tax adjusted equity MF return of 10%...before boasting about salary to know the avenues to optimise in hand and improve future savings
