A lot of it is about showing yourself that you *can* do it regardless of what others think. Is going for 14 hours going to make or break a race vs. doing interval training all week, maybe/ maybe not
The 10k cal thing is mostly just a round number click button, but Tyler does 12-36 hour continuous race events, so for him training the body for that long slow burn and eat is a real thing
My height doesn’t change, but I check my weight often. I also used a HR strap and whoop to verify calories burned. I’ve also burned 10k + before outside so I roughly know what it takes.
It is actually pretty easily for a cyclist to do. I can do ~360 calories per hour on the bike w/ zero GI issues. Consume a decent sized meal at midnight (2k) and go to bed for 4 hours. Then...you would only need to consume ~3k calories in ~4-5 hours after which is a joke.
I have tried it a few times, and what’s funny is everyone else can eat the 10k, but not burn it. I can burn it no problem, but my stomach shuts down around 6-7k.
After 14 hours how you even have mental capacity to remember which one is pee bottle and which one is water?? I personally wouldnt even know the difference at that point 😂
Great job. I use a pace management process I burned between 8,000 and 10,000 calories within 24 hours five times last year. At age 66, with impairments. It's a difficult, and painful PROCESS. Even many fitness experts don't understand CPI. I've challenged people online for over a year, with no takers. It's not about talking a good game, or who looks fit. It's having the commitment, and pain tolerance to execute a plan. My offer is always open.
@@TheVCAdventures my problem on longer rides has always been fueling, Its hard to force my self to eat during that hard of an effort. Also this was a midwest farmland ride. which mean can 15-20mph headwinds.
Tyler is a very good cyclist....so 200W steady state about right. HR is highly subjective since it is based upon physiology. Get a person like Lionel Sanders and 200W would be a HR of ~110.
You could have done intermittent sprinting on the thing and carved your way through the calories quite a bit faster. Still would have taken a long time, though.
Is your calorie counter is inaccurate. Noted burn 10000 calories it's about 3 days food. You can do that in about 5 hours. Remember your body uses calories Even when you're not working out.
I’m not even a vegan and u got me thinking ur stupid as can be. Anyone would be tired. No matter what diet they prefer. Even the meth heads on the meth diet would be tired. This is up there with stupidest comment I’ve ever seen. Top 2 for sure
I think the question below of "but why" is the important one. Look after yourself!

I biked 300 miles in two days and after that I got a butt transplant ... I don't know how these pros r doing it but I ain't doing that no more ... 😂

Trick question: those are ALL pee bottles
You have an amazing wife. My wife supports my cycling, but she would say, “I guess your outta luck. We’re going to eat without you then”😅
dude's on a whole new level
TY, Good seeing you the other day at Mb2 raceway
We love that place. But man they let the worst drivers on the track 😂
Baddass Brother 😎
Best motivation on Earth❤
Did you check your weight before and after this workout?

@@TheVCAdventures I asked that because I wondered how many kilos you lost after the workout
@@TheVCAdventuresdo you follow your hydration 1:1 with respiration loss or do you end up a few lbs lighter on the other side
@@hornetluca1kg fat ≈ 7.000kcal. So about 1,4kg.
You should do the "consume 10k calories + burn 10k in 24 hours" challenge that a lot of other fitness youtubers have attempted

Old VC was CRAZZYYY!!
That's crazy dude.
I’m impressed
Now to do it in TT position. Let's go, Borrego!
He won't, he can't 😂
The pee bit had me dead
Demi look good in that Cycling gear...
Wat, two 15 minute breaks....
Crazy 😮

Indoor is crazy💀
I'm not unconvinced that you just did it like the triathletes do it
Did that say 35 pizza slices?! Beats my 1.2 per ride lol
On a trainer holy sheesh canoli
I did a century in 5h30min (bonked at mile 85) my calorie burn for the ride was in the 10k region.
Yikes! No wonder you bonked. 1,000/hr is pretty full gas, 2,000/hr there is almost zero way to refuel. You must have crushed that first 50mi though 🤙🤙

this man is committed. I am not.
the real question is wtf was dinner ?!
14 hours? There would be no flesh between sits bone and saddle by the end.
I have a taint of steel, no issues down there for me whatsoever.
My brutha look in to proper methylation.😅

The hardest part about being a vegan is not telling everyone you meet that you’re a vegan
😂😂
Usually, jokes are funny because they tend to have a bit of bitter truth nobody can deny. The funny thing about (you and) your comment is 404. 🫠
Q: How do you know of someone is a Vegan?
A: They TELL you.
Fuq...beast mode
One hour on the trainer is my max a day. Way too fucking boring for me.
A good rocker plate helps a ton, then doing a group ride on zwift helps too. Also, I’ve listened to every podcast that has ever existed 😂
@@TheVCAdventureswhat rocker plate do you have? Or recommend now? Thanks Tyler!
Why?
Should have deducted the 1500 calories you burn just be being alive, save yourself a couple hours!
