My hair is FLAT in the crown!

Not only do I not have a crown, the top of my skull is flat. When I was young, my face was round. Older and sagging now, I realized my head shape when buying a wig because of extreme thinning of my hair. My head measurements are part average and part petite.
I can't get a hair dresser to understand how my head shape dictates my cut. The thinning makes it even worse.

I was born almost four weeks late, so, my crown was a bit pushed in. This is a real thing. Just that 1/4 to 1/2 inch depression makes a difference. I have the stylist thin my hair and cut under the top hair to poof it up.
