Seeing as people have beaten this game naked, at level 1, with an unupgraded sword hilt, it’s safe to say any challenge run is possible. (Except for those miracle only style challenges)
Honestly, if you want to more closely resemble richter he is not only locked to miracles, he is specialized into sorceries and pyromancy, as he can use thise magics in the show and games, plus he regularly covers the whip with these magics, since the whip is already concentrated and imbued with alchemical power to fight demons honestly shouldnt need holy imbueification but dark souls so yknow.
The run was more focused on the challenge, the name came from a subscriber since I was struggling to come up with one at the time. I completely agree he would be using magic and pyromancy

by punch are you referring to bare fist bc I dont know if its possible to survive long enough with bare fist, armor, and getting hit non stop since I would only be doing 1 damage to most bosses. Now there is a spell in the game that retruns damge back that would be pretty intresting with a tank build
Cestus? But that spell sounds awesome. No rolling or strafing. Just a pure brawl. If impossible then maybe healing is allowed outside of combat so your ready to start again
I would have been ok if you had included the spiked whip into your arsenal and were allowed to wear clothes (No heavy plated or chain armor. Regular clothing or leather armor would have been fine).
I beat super ornstein so many times I fstarted to forget super smough. I die to super smough more than I die to super ornstein. I don't get why those attacks get you . They are very well telegrapht

Hey, I have a question. (This is kinda long sorry) You mentioned that you wanted to 100% all of the games right? To get somewhat comfortable with them for challenge running right? Then I have some potentially frightening news regarding DS2 and what it takes to truly 100% that game. Have you ever heard of the Illusory rings? (If you have then I guess you can stop here.) Well there's 2 of them. The Illusory ring of the conqueror and the Illusory ring of the exalted. What they do is one makes your left hand equipment invisible while the other does the right. Anyways here's the scary part you get one by completing a run without dying. The other by completing a run without ever resting at a bonfire but you can still light them for checkpoints, you need to be smart though because some you need to come back to and may want to skip them the first time etc. Thankfully there's no trophy/achievements tied to these challenges if that's what you're going for but if you want to " Truly *100%* " DS2 then these built in challenge runs await you. Actually that could make for a neat Challenge run video in and of itself "can you beat both Illusory challenges at the same time?" The stakes only get heavier the deeper you go lol.
100% was just for steam achievements, but I definitely get what you're saying. I honestly have been thinking of just finishing the game once or twice and then start doing som challenge runs in DS2 and DS3. Also Do I need OG DS2 bc I have the DLC one
@@AccainGaming You shouldn't need OG they never removed the Illusory rings. I'd say OG was easier overall though. Scholar of the First Sin not only moved a ton of items around but also moved a bunch of enemies around as well as added more enemies to low populated areas. It's overall harder in my opinion. If Scholar version is the only one you've played/plan on playing you should be completely fine. Funny thing is since I played both versions extensively (the original massively more so) my memory of item and enemy locations are kinda scrambled between the two and it makes replaying it now just confusing lol.

What Scholar of the First Sin is, is a "next gen remaster" moving DS2 from the PS3/XBox 360 to the PS4/XBox 1. It just happens to have all the dlc included in it. I believe what they wanted to do was spice things up and make the new version more worth it by changing most of the core experience. They even "integrated" the dlc where as the original version just gave you the keys right away (yes I'm talking in game keys to unlock the literal doors to them like you would any other locked door). Heavy Iron Key Dragon Talon Frozen Flower The Scholar version hides these keys in the game world and makes you find them before unlocking the dlc areas. Kinda cool immersion there. Ironically the dlc is the only thing in the Scholar version that has no changes at all, no new enemy or item placements, exactly the same as the old version.

@@AccainGaming Here's a few tips for the Fists Run when you do it: 1. 100%ing the Covenant Of Champs will give you a ring to make Unarmed Fists hit harder than the Caestus and also gives your fists more Scaling. 2. You're probably doing the Fists Run Armorless so I thought you would like to know that in one of the DLCs, There's a ring that makes being Armorless a good thing. 3. In another DLC, You can find *THE STRONGEST FIST WEAPON IN THE GAME.* Also Fists Only is Another One of Lemon's _"Ye Of Little Faith"_ Challenges
