We are spiritual beings having a human experience, we have free will so it's so important to respect yourself and those around you. I believe you're friends who returned to our real home too soon are very much alive, they will rest and review their mistakes, and hopefully return someday much stronger and wiser.

I was a paramedic for years before becoming disabled courtesy of a drunk driver smashing into our ambulance on the highway. I learned real quick every drunk person that caused a wreck only ever had 2, no more no less 😂

I lived in Las Vegas from 1979 to 81..All I can say is omgoodness, things in this town have changed! The amount of drug addicted youngsters, even adults..but especially the youth, it’s changed so so much! I rarely saw addicts on the streets. The people I saw were mostly vacationers walking the town going from casino to casino just having a good time. Once in a while I would see the alcoholic guy sitting on a bench somewhere. It was nothing like this! A lot of what I’m seeing here could well be the children of the people I knew back then. Sure, a lot of transients..I’m just really shocked at the change. ALSO, I walked out of my home and I was looking at desert, the city was more than half the size as it is here…OH how it’s grown!
Officer Sittre likes to engage people & then starts acting like she’s so pious by lecturing them on what they’ve done wrong. I’m no fan of drunk driving or theft, etc., but Sittre wasn’t hired to lecture people on their sins, she was hired to book arrestees into the jail & keep control over the jail itself.

Crazy people... I will admit i had a crazy 90s... arrested and jailed for a few different reasons. (Nothing ever violent or crazy) and not once did i argue or put up a fight. Never debated or disagreed. And not once have i had an bad experience. Not once was a guard rude or mean. If i was drunk, i was cool and slept it off. You play it cool and you get treated cool.

As a baby boomer, I saw the LSD/psychedelic 60's as a kid, the heroin use of the 70's as a teenager, the cocaine/crack cocaine of the 80's as a young adult, the fentanyl/opioids/heroin (again) of the 90's, now the meth/animal tranquilizers of the 21st century. Always something new in America. And with every generation, of course, the national favorite, marijuana/weed.
Why not just chose not to take drugs ? I know these drugs are addictive , that is why I never took them and made sure my children never did ! I do have a niece smoking pot and my brother is ok with that , I told him it just leads to other drugs , not only that she is flunking in most of her classes !
