Hi! For all of you wondering:
1. Yes, our Rapid-Fire videos are intentionally silly. We like them as it lets the devs loosen up and goof off after enduring hours of our serious cover interviews.
2. Yes, some questions/answers were cut. There were points where the devs revealed things they weren't supposed to, even for joke questions (no, I can't say what)
3. This, along with our previous/future video features, was recorded in early January, hence why "raingate" wasn't brought up.
4. We still have the (serious) video interview with director Ampo and Kadoi planned for the week of Feb 27, which will be our final week of coverage.
5. A written Q&A with the sound designer and composer will be up on the website tomorrow (or now, depending on when you read this)
6. We have no more new gameplay footage to share.

I think the fact that this video was delayed multiple times is what made a bunch of us a bit too "hyped" for it. Also, I figured that the delay was caused by NDA stuff, glad to see it confirmed.
Just tell one thing all I need to know are regenerators still there so I know weather to buy the game or not

I think it was great, even though we knew Island & Krauser would be there, knowing now that Krauser will be beefed up, the Island reworked and Mike will make more appearances is excellent. Also thanks for lettings us now when the last piece of coverage is going to be, I think most of us cannot wait until the remake drops. The silly questions lightened up the mood quite a bit and definitely are something positive, people need to temper their expectations and stop thinking everything will be revealed a month and half before release.

I now fully expect the dog to pop up at the end and give us the special red rocket launcher instead of Ada throwing it to us.

Halfway through the story, the game is gonna ditch Ashley altogether and you’re tasked with escorting the dog
or bite Sadler's junk to end him as a new optional finishing.
@Daniel González it'll be a haunting ground part 2, and funny enough is also an early build of re4 original
@@moistbird7618 It would be even better if the dog helps you when you play as Ashley, it'd be a cool reference to Haunting Ground.
So we learned some important things:
1. Krauser is 100% confirmed;
2. The island is 100% confirmed;
3. Regenerator and Garrador are 100% confirmed;
4. Hookman is not present;
5. Dog is still alive;
6. There are multiple chainsaw villagers;
7. The village section is bigger.
Bella sisters present or not?
Will the statue of Salazar be there? Or will they adapt it in another way? Or did they just remove the stage?
When they talked about Regeneradores e Garradores i thought they were reffering to the original game, not the remake

I wish he would have asked if any of the Extra Content was in the game like Mercs or Seperate Ways.
Krauser and Island was revealed a few weeks ago but MY BOI MIKE IS HERE!
I know they can’t reveal much but honestly many of his questions were absolute garbage. It was a hard watch honestly especially when he asked if iPads are replacing the typewriters. What a total waste of a question.

@@Al-Abbasi I've watched many of these rapid fire interviews over the years. It was exactly what i expected. Mostly joke questions with just enough serious questions to keep you interested throughout the video.

This was so wholesome and enjoyable to watch. Never have I seen Devs so passionate to a project that they are working on. Really cannot wait for this masterpiece of a remake of a masterpiece to come out

This interview covered pretty much everything, very interesting and relaxed!
This game is going to be a proper and faithful adaptation. Can’t wait!
*Things confirmed here, and a big thanks to GI:*
1. Krauser has a bigger combat role and is even stronger this time around.
2. Rengerators and Garrador are still in the game.
3. The Island is similar length to the original and has been slightly redesigned.
4. There is newgame+
5. Mike is still in the game and has MORE scenes.
6. No Hookman :( in spite of the Dimitrescu daughters having hooks and disappearing (how odd).
7. No Salazar Statue, based on the exchange.
8. The dog is still in the game, based on the exchange.
9. The Village has much more to do, including underground tunnels and quests (we sorta knew this).
10. There are quick-time events, but very few, likely tied to enemies like Verdugo and Bull Ganado.
11. There is more than 1 chainsaw Ganado, so he won't be a stalker like predicted.
12. There probably will be no long-term designated Stalker-Enemy this time around (thank goodness).

Im from Spain and I can say the village seems some abandoned village in the north of Spain, in some region like "Galicia","Asturias" or"Cantabria", because the houses are made of stone and because the kind of the roofs, the weather and the rain.

Yeah, but that's just how the world of contracts and NDAs work. Besides even if they did ask that but capcom didn't want to release said info the footage would be edited and cut anyways.
Nah I personally don’t want a demo.. I wanna experience the game in full and fresh the first time and I don’t think I could resist downloading the demo if they released one..

Best video game series of all times...I'm 39 with 2 kids of my own and still remember how the zombie grabbed my leg at the beginning of re1 and how scared I was and fascinated about that world...let's hope they remake 5 and 6 with more horror elements
6 may never be touched, but 5 has a chance, kinda rare seeing as it's a 7th gen game though

Oh god, are you serious? _5_ and _6_ effectively destroyed the franchise almost irreversibly. Why in seven hells would they ever consider remaking them? People try to forget they even exist, not to mention they're as recent as fuck.
Reason why Yoshiaki knew about hook man because he was one of the OG RE4 team. He even knew Mikami likes bingo.
What is 'OG RE4?'
If I remember correctly, he was the lead designer for the original.

Sidenote for 11:16, the scene they were referring to in English is the "very cute" line of Leon when he got the jet-ski key from Ada (with the teddy bear). It's not the "story of my life" line with Hunnigan. The line "泣けるぜ" has become quite of a small meme for that in Japan lol.

My favorite weapon is the P.R.L. 412 & we still haven't heard if that's in the remake. Hopefully it is & with updated laser effects. As for the dog, I have a feeling we will still get the chance to rescue a dog that will help us later, it just won't be in the same location as in the original. The dev's knew how much it meant to players to rescue that dog & I'm sure they knew there would be backlash if it was removed. So excited for the remake! Nice interview & funny too. :)

U3 is one of the best boss fights in the OG , they have to keep it! PRL can get lost but Thompson and handcannon are more than welcome

mad respect to these two, they are taking a big risk in remaking RE4. the original is a masterpiece and its hard to improve on something that is just about perfect.
Re 4 OG is perfect? The controls in the original are garbage. An action game pretending to be a horror game. The story is garbage. No depth. The island is just an action packed with 1 percent horror.

@@jackjax7921Maybe you need a history lesson here. Yeah, the controls seem outdated nowadays but back in the day they were revolutionary, RE4 single handedly started the over the shoulder third person genre and also started the QTE trend on action games.
RE4 is not only regarded as TOP3 Resident Evil game by the community, but it is also regarded as one of the best videogames OF ALL TIME, it could easily get into the top 10 of all time.
Put some respect on RE4.
