Hi Janet, I followed your directions and my baguette came out so delicious!! Thanks for sharing your recipe. Can you please list nutrition info, particularly net carbs per baguette? Thanks again!
Would it turn out to take my left over bread to make crumbs to use as a breading for chicken or pork chops ? Would it brown up well or just get mushy.. ? Ty
It works great I do it all the time. It works best to either toast the bread or leave it on the counter for a day or two until it dries out a little bit then process it in a food processor until it becomes bread crumbs. I keep my bread crumbs in the freezer to keep them fresh for months.
Love ALL the tips you share with your recipes! Can you double this, then split into two baguettes? Can you tell me internal temp of baguette when it is done? Is it 205°F like most gluten free bread?
Hello, I was led to your channel while searching, how to make low carb Jamaican coco bread. I didn't find anything, any suggestions on how I might do this using coconut flour? I also subscribed, like your recipes, can't wait to try them.
Most of my baked goods people have commented that I do a good job toning down any coconut flour taste. If you'd like you can add some instant dry yeast and/or some dried herbs This makes a big difference in flavor
It depends on which one you're wanting to make the first written recipe is the vegan version and requires 1/2 TBS oil. If you scroll down to the second recipe that is the non vegan version and it requires 1/2 cup oil
@@JanetsDeliciousLowCarbKitchen Thanks for the quick response. However, I just took the egg-free loaf out of the oven, and I used 2 T. olive oil. It looks picture perfect, and I'm sure it will be OK.
You can substitute xanthan gum with psyllium husk powder or flax seed meal. Keep in mind any changes may slightly change the taste and texture of the recipe
The Baguettes look delicious! I love the way you explain and appreciate the hard work you are putting in. Keep the recipes coming...Thank you...

But it doesn’t say portion size?

Yes you can double this recipe and split into two baguettes. The internal temperature should be about 200 degrees
Can you specify how many servings? The written recipe is 1.5 carbs for the egg free but it doesn’t say how big the pieces are
Hello, I just met you, and this is crazy but... I think i really love your channel 😂 no! I'm serious, love it!!!!
😆 Thank you I am glad you are enjoying my channel
Mine came out with a lot of cracks. How can I prevent this? Thanks!!
Sounds like the dough was a little dry. The amount of liquid may need to be adjusted depending on the texture of the coconut flour and where you live.

Thank you for subscribing. I will see what I can do about making a recipe for Jamaican coco bread
Will this banquette brown if butter or egg wash is brushed on top ?
it will brown slightly coconut flour does not brown as dark as white flour unless it is overbaked
I've used coconut flour only once and am curious about the taste you're getting. Wouldn't the baguette taste oddly of coconut?

Can you make this without flaxseed?
You can substitute the flaxseeds with chia seeds or more psyllium husk powder.
How much oil should I use? 1/2 c. or 1/2 T.? The video recipe reads 1/2 c. but the written recipe reads 1/2 T.

The baguette looks nothing like the thumbnail. What can I use to substitute xanthan gum?
You can substitute xanthan gum with psyllium husk powder or flax seed meal. Keep in mind any changes may slightly change the taste and texture of the recipe
Hi can you recommend me replacement for flaxseed?
you can use almond flour or any other seed flour as a replacement
Eggs in vegan bread?
Flax or chia eggs are used in the vegan version
@@JanetsDeliciousLowCarbKitchen ok thanks.
You speak like "food wishes" RUclips channel host
Thank you I think lol
It says vegan, but it uses eggs. Some people might consider this vegetarian, but because eggs are animal products they aren't vegan.
There are two versions on this video one is vegan without eggs the other is not vegan.
eggs are not vegan'
The second recipe on this video contains no eggs
At the end of no eggs u mention a spice I do not understand or know could u spell it plse…
The last ingredient added to the no egg version is xanthan gum. It is a binding agent. Since the recipe contains no eggs it needs extra binding
