We need a face-off between Justin (the singer/guitarist) here and the bassist from Alien Ant Farm (Tye) on who has the most wacky facial expressions and dance moves
I've been searching for this song for 20 years. Somebody said to me "What's the Delio" and I though of Mest, then read the top comment on their Cadillac video and saw Zebrahead. This track is still a banger.
i fucking love this song. takes me back. never knew the drummer was lefty, kinda throws me off, but he lays it down solid, with authority, and such a driving beat. "have your ass stepping like Jerry had Tom" you know this is a 90's song.
I saw these cats on the Vans Warped tour late 90's! My boy on the mic had a broken leg or something (leg in a cast) and he still tore it up!! Guess who else was on the bill that year? Some guy named Eminem 🤔🤷🏾♂️😁
Its funny you mention that because it was probably that year that Ali was diagnosed with Lymphoma while doing Warped Tour and it was diagnosed after a basketball accident - a basketball game he played alongside Eminem.

+Zebrahead Such an underrated song, but bloody love it too. Whenever i listen to it, it just makes me smile, as well as head banging and air guitaring to it too :)
It has been a while since I have listened to this, going to look into getting the albums, they're quite hard to get in shops. I knew a lot of people during my a levels and university, and mostly doubted for the style of music I like, not so much in uni, but people are always going to complain.
+Mike Fucious that would be Cane's on Mission Beach. I saw them at the same bar a few years later. That venue had a lot of great shows until Selma opened back up. Saw Weezer, Nofx, Rancid, Toadies.. ton of great bands there. Actually, drank at the outdoor bar there, next table over was Weezer. I do miss that place.
I will forever have the two concerts I saw these guys at engrained in my memory. Seriously some of the funnest live shows I've ever been to. The first two albums were so good. Many good tracks since then with new band members but the OG 2 albums were amazing. If they ever come back to my part of the world I would never miss it.
Neal Damiano well check out broadcast to the world for a heavier more hardcore album , or walk the plank for post modern to start back. BTW new singer and walk the plank had a new guitarist who joined for call your friends album.
I loved this song back in the 90s! I remember it coming on the radio and wondering why the fuck they weren’t as big as 311 or Incubus. A forgotten hit that’s still great today. Every band is as made cooler with hip hop mixed in there
I was 11 when this came out. I used to always steal my brother's CD's when he was out and this was one of my all time favorite songs. I forgot how awesome the initial guitar and bass line is.
goat song dudes :D i cant believ this doesnt have more views. this is the track that first got me into it back in 2005?. u said Kobe just right and it stuck. (and I believe his spirit has played a role in helping me in my life. :D great souls look out for one another in spirit. and im luckyaf and blessed af for that) you guys ruled my life for years . Karma Flavored Whiskey my today favorite but. SO MANY were favorites along the way through it all. thank you dudes. from a kid out in the middle of nowhere in Iowa. you changed my life forever. helped me get into guitar too! and guitar got me out here to Cali. :D Much love!
Zebrahead should better perform Get back live these days. It's an awesome song and I am sure most of the people would have heard it before. It was a hit back in 1998 after all.Matty will do fine in it .
"I got game like Kobe" "Gotta get the dough like my man Donald Trump" This song came out in 2000. Kobe was just the star player for the Lakers at that point, and Donald Trump was still thought of as nothing more than tabloid fodder. This was also years before The Apprentice.
@that1guy1405 Justin Mauriello (rhythm guitar, vocals 1996-2004) was replaced with Matty Lewis (rhythm guitar, vocals 2005-present) i didnt mean the one that covers the rapping/hip hop
One of the most underrated bands of all time
With formation with Justin... now they're more popular, than then...
fergon not my point but yeah agreed ha
Couldn’t agree more!
True
Underrated big time!! Don't get it!!?
This has no right to be this gnarly in 2024 🤘🏼

The winner faces Pelle Almqvist from The Hives
This video needs more shots of the guitarist raising his eyebrows and keeping his eyes extremely open
( O_O)
Which one????
Shazam!

Their first 2 albums are so classic.
+TheDealMaster Yeah, they need to do something like a mix of Waste of Mind, MFZB and Broadcast to the World.
First 2 are classic. I used to see these guys at 369 club in Fullerton
First album is by far and above their best. Every song is amazing.
I think Playmate of the year was cool
God yes. Jag Off is so damn good
Dude, I like Zebrahead making a debut of this rap rock song like Linkin Park, Papa Roach And Cypress Hill into the process! 💯🤘🏾🤪🤘🏾💯
i fucking love this song. takes me back. never knew the drummer was lefty, kinda throws me off, but he lays it down solid, with authority, and such a driving beat. "have your ass stepping like Jerry had Tom" you know this is a 90's song.
For some reason, Kobe dying in a helicopter crash triggered a memory of the lyrics in this underrated track and here I am.
0:59 It’s always the Zebrahead season🎸🎸🎸😎😎😎🔥🔥🔥💖

Sounds like a mix of 311, Incubus, and The Offspring 🤘🏼🎸🥁
man, this brings back some memories
yeah it brings back my teenage years :p
Man, this brings back Napster 1999 -- when downloading music. This popped up, this had the potion. No it aint treason this the Zebrahead season.
Tons!
Saw these guys play at playmakers in Fargo,Nd 98 or 99. Reel Big Fish was headliner but these guys got the encore. Awesome show!!
None of which were good
Is everybody else here also in their 40’s listening to the songs they listens to in high school? Lol
Yes we are. 41, but who's counting
Lol. I’m 41 also. Freshmen in 97

I’m 39 and currently existing in 1996

+Mike Fucious that would be Cane's on Mission Beach. I saw them at the same bar a few years later. That venue had a lot of great shows until Selma opened back up. Yup I was rockin and hammered at that place
@@Ldfarquar yup Weezer was killer there as well
this is definitely the band ever
the band ever, indeed :3
One of the best rock & rap songs ever made.
*Pop Punk-NÜ Metal
@@GREG_Khar-NÜ-Metalhead2000 I wouldn't consider this nu-metal, but you are the metalhead, so I must defer ;P
@@MegaBubble well it does have metal added into it. They have a lot of heavy metal features in their songs. Especially now its more relevant

This album was a random buy but a good one. I never understood why they weren't a bigger deal than they were.
They were/are huge in Japan lol
They were popular in Japan, the U.S has thing where we hate fun so they weren’t popular here.
2022 The Best!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ #JustinMauriello #Zebrahead #Punk #Cool
Remember this had heavy rotation on 92.3 k rock around the late 90s or early 2000s
Wow core memory unlocked
These guys were great, first two albums were awesome. So eclectic
Neal Damiano you don't like their new songs?
SynthTechion323 Miles Gomez quite honestly haven’t heard them? I had this album on cassette (Laughing)
Neal Damiano well check out broadcast to the world for a heavier more hardcore album , or walk the plank for post modern to start back. BTW new singer and walk the plank had a new guitarist who joined for call your friends album.
I remember when Hawaiian shirts, boardshorts, cheetah or zebra print was popular, LOL! Totally remember this song being "#1".

Nostalgic around something familar.
Hi Zebrafed, fan since 2000. keep rockin.
Love it 😍 I still listen to my zebrahead 👍🏻 I’m 27 and this is my escape when I have a hell of a day
Still one of the best bounce riffs ever.

I was twelve when this came out. I'm 21 now and still think this is amazing!
It came out in 1998 I'm pretty sure, sooo if you are 21 now you were like 3 when it came out. I was only 9, didn't get into it until I was 15
Had the pleasure of seeing these guys when they opened up for fuel in Chicago way back
Love these guys! Nothing better then chillin listening to Zebrahead as loud as you can. 😍
Ali looks in 1998 exactly similar than in 2013 - It seems he never gets old :)
He looks like a teenager!
he had a mohawk for the Phoenix album
Thank you..,
Like all the band :p
***** well except greg i guess since he left, and Ben, since he has dreads no more.
I had this video oh VHS way back in the day. Had so much fun with these guys. Some of the best live shows I've ever seen.
