I got my silver streak last week. I was thrill to find it. I’m putting her on a pole. I’ve gone crazy over the plastic D-moss poles.
The two plants I have on them so far are loving it. I'm going to place the Silver Stripe on one too.

Great purchase! I got my silver stripe a few months ago at Walmart in El Paso. It’s living in my window sill and it’s so happy. It’s been so hot here, it was nice to see the rain in your video. God bless!

The Home Depot near me is beyond dismal, very few poorly cared for Golden Pothos mostly. Never saw an E. ‘Silver Stripe’, I love long leaves, and will look for it in some of the other box stores! Thanks for sharing 🌱🤗

I just purchased a green form and strip form a few weeks ago. This plant has been around for years. I never knew about this particular Pothos. It is so unique. I'm glad you found it!!🎉

@@carmenwhitehead I know right. That plant has been around before the big thing happened. And it never surfaced in that time of crisis. But, I love it.
I'm watching from Tucson and I'm jealous of the rain lol. Summer was delayed with the cooler than normal year but it has arrived. 102-103 this week, 109+ on Monday. Currently 100° with real feel of 109 in the sun with 9% humidity. I love the purple shield but I don't think it would thrive here. I have the fans on full force and turned off the humidifier for now. Mexican petunias are one of my favorite outdoor plants that don't care about the heat. Painted succulents are an abomination. Those poor plants are suffocating, they were beautiful before they were painted.
I talked to my parents yesterday (they're in Phoenix) and they mentioned the heat and the lack of rain. Thanks so much for watching and stay cool!

Hi Carmen. I stumbled upon the last Silver Stripe at either Lowe's or Home Depot and felt obligated to take it home with me. It wasn't as full and lush as yours which makes me want to go on the hunt for another one. 😁
I think they're fast growers, so yours could get big quickly. Enjoy!

11:42 not to be persnickety, pero Corn Plant Dracaena instead of Yucca Plant (13:00✔️). I ordered from Costa Farms and killed it. There were two Corn plants, one the size you touched and a smaller in the container. Killed them both. Smaller, than the taller ⚰️I'd recognize that corpse anywhere! 🧐
Peace Lily Sensation beside Yucca Plant with extra long spathe. Plant is said mature at six feet tall and wide making it the largest of commercially produced.

I got one of the amplisima silver strips and love it. I also got a lemon meringue and I’m not overly impressed with it. Once the leaves are no longer new it just looks like a global green that I already have. I thought pothos leaves stay a decent size but the global greens leaves are getting smaller even on a trellis
That's interesting about the Lemon Meringue. I got one last month and It's just kind of just sitting there. Hasn't really grown much. But, it's early days, so I'll be patient with it. thanks for watching!
I always see them at Walmart. I’m not into that too much. Still looking for a chameleon that have not been over watered. Gone through 3 of them. They are always too wet. And repotting them was already too late.

Hi Carmen! My friend in Ohio just got an "Alocacia Cupid Red Scarlett." The most beautiful plant I've ever seen (do you have it?) and you know me 🌵 I'm mostly into orchids but i really liked that one. So happy you got your 1st phalaenopsis! I missed that video. Been so busy in my garden here in Arizona before the heat 🥵 came in.
I've never heard of that one. There's so many new plants coming on the market, it's hard sometimes to keep up to date. Thanks for sharing. My parents are still in the Phoenix area and they mentioned the heat was already there and no rain!

It's great to buy one and then separate it to share with family and friends. They propagate by separation very easily.

Is there a particular potting soil that you like best? Beautiful plants there!
I usually mix Fox Farm Ocean Forest with some orchid bark, charcoal bits and pumice or perlite. Or you can buy Tank's Green Stuff De La Tanks soil. Both are good options.
So many cool plants! I love the way the Treubii looks, I didn't do so well with mines but I'm sure it will grow with you. That Ficus Bonsai would have been in the back seat with the seat belt on 😅 Marvelous haul, absolutely infatuated with the Maculata, just got a Silver Treak Amplissimum, yours is an amazing specimen!

How do you care for these plants. Are they low maintenance?
Yes, for the most part, they are low maintenance. They have the same watering and light requirements. There are some plants I don't buy, because they are too high maintenance.
There has to be a trick for polkadot begonia because I'm on my third one..Not Happy please someone has to help on this ONE.....!
I'm being patient with mine. It's dropped almost all of it's leaves so far. But, It also had a bunch of new buds forming. So fingers crossed! 🤞.
