Hey Graeme thanks for doing this . I’ve always liked that UFO jacket . Never listened to camel I’ll have to give them a listen I know James griffiths featured them last year in a video . I like that dry cleaning album I might grab it soon .. I only have about 7 boxsets and 2 of them were vclt . That Johnny cash looks decent .I want that generation x best of everytime I see it it’s trashed . Funny you chose unknown pleasures I never thought of that 🤷🏼♂️nice subways t shirt by the way .. 82,was a classic year and you showed a classic album . Really enjoy the video Graeme best wishes in 2022 👍
Hi Rob, thanks for doing the questions. The Dry Cleaning album is definitely worth picking up. I picked up the T-shirt when I saw them in a tiny little club in Exeter about 10 years ago now. Have a great 2022! Cheers
Great response. I really enjoy the Nancy and Lee collaborations. I picked up the record that Lee Hazelwood did with Ann Margret which sounds like a great pairing but it didn't quite work. I have not heard of The Playn Jayn but will have to check them out. I like the soundtrack pick. Take care. --Randy
I picked up a mint copy of the first press Nancy & Lee for £1 from BHF a while back, great L.P. I also got Pentangle - Sweet Child, and a signed copy of Open the Door and Bowie -Hunky Dory grand total £10!!!
Just discovered your channel. That Johnny Cash box looks great. I'm in Kentucky in the US so maybe I'll find it in a thrift store or antique mall someday. I showed the same punk album so that Rob couldn't claim I was actually showing a post-punk record.
Hi Chris. It is a good box set. I suppose I could have shown that Generation X album as a punk album. I am surprisingly short of punk vinyl. Thanks for subbing 👍
Great response Graeme. I also saw UFO, but in 1984 at the Birmingham Odeon.( I think by then Phil Mogg was the only original member). Lovely Godfather soundtrack. Most Eurovision songs were so trite and ridiculous!. Sulk is an album I always meant to get as I love Party Fears Two.Such an original singer, he injected so much drama into his vocals. All the best.
Hello! I'm unfamiliar with Dennis William Wilson, not a surprise as that was his only album. That said he seems to have been a backing singer on shedloads of albums coming out of Nashville in the 80s. I've sampled that record on RUclips, and it sounds entirely listenable, mostly folky country pop ballads. I picked up the records from that Johnny Cash box set a while back. Cant go wrong with the music on those. Ha! You better believe I'm going to give that Dschinghis Khan listen. They look like the alternate cast of Flash Gordon. I also need to apologise for not mentioning you in my tag video when I thanked the guys who have kindly sent records my way. Cheers - Hed
Hey! I will definitely watch your tag video later. I haven't googled Mr Wilson yet. It will be cracked open soon though. No worries about not mentioning me either
Hahaha that Macca LP is mine and Hedley's favourite. What can I say? Did things get any better for him? Not particularly....... Gheghis Khan well I think I have the Finnish version of that let me come back with a link later, truly horrific.
A crackin' vinyl tag sir, thoroughly enjoyed it 👍👍👍
Cheers! Had fun doing it
Nice "Vinyl Tag" selections.
Cheers!

Hi Randall, that Lee and Ann album does sound like it should work. I might try it out anyway. Cheers

That Eurovision song I showed may not be trite but it most certainly is absolutely ridiculous! Cheers Rob, and a Happy New Year!
