The first 16 seconds were absolutely brutal. Amazing vocals 👏 🔥🔥
I've never known Chad to give anything less than 100% of himself on a stage. The man is many, many things. Dedicated is just 1 of them. Everyone was fucking killing it. Matt on those drums, the dude was focused as shit, it was amazing. Ryan was perfect as always, darting across the stage the second the curtain dropped had me rolling, lol. Greg the epitome of precision, he was nailing it every time no matter the pace set. Mudvayne has always been my ride or die band, the 1 band I would take with me to my grave. This is a dream come true. I only wish I could have been there.
Ryan on stage is the greatest performance I’ve ever seen.
For real dude. Ryan is the best and has the best stage presence
These guys individually were objectively at the very top of what they did and as a band were part of only a few bands that were able to do nu metal right.
I have seen 100s of bands and Ryan was the most bad ass I have seen live. Mudvayne is not near my favorite bands but Ryan is Elite in my opinion.I thought the man was possessed 😆

I went to the recent show at San Bernardino. I'm a huge nu metal fan but never ever paid much attn to mudvayne. But holy shit they make a lot of sound, top to bottom very solid. Chad grey is a better lead singer than jonathon Davis, and I love korn. The bassist for mudvayne really loves his work.....damn.
I am 43 years old and just found Mudvayne! Absolute Fire!!!!!

Welcome aboard friend and you're never too late to hear the good things. Been with them since 2001 and don't regret it one single bit. They are to me (nu metal kid) as KISS was to kids in the 70's.

Agree 💯. I have seen them 5 times, he sounds amazing here. Reminds me of the end of all things tour. He sounds consistent in ever single song where as the last concert I seen before they stopped touring he held out for the classics and still couldn't hit the high notes and couldn't keep his breath for songs like Dig. He fucking killed it here. Can't wait to see them again

The entire band sounds really good, Chad sounds stunningly good, incredible performance, I saw mudvayne on tour with slipknot at the Tacoma Dome in 2001 and it was brutal

Chad took us all to another fuckin place on this night. I've seen so many bands live and was at Woodstock 99 back in the day and this show will be with me forever. He gave all of himself mentally.
Bro I totally agree...was my 2nd time seeing them. 1st was at tattoo the earth at the horse track in mass.....and I was blown away by them and static x..... was like I went back in time...
I LOVED LD 50. It was a nu-metal record that actually involved real music making. The jazz bass licks were so unique. If they are going to make a come back they need to get back to making that kind of music again.

This was definitely mudvayne show.chad left a part of himself on that stage man.alll the bands sounded great but mudvayne was why I drove 2 hours.
I saw them in ATL a few day prior. It was a fucking spiritual experience. What a concert!
I was at the ATL one too… felt like the crowd was not giving Mudvayne much love. I was so stoked!!!!

He probably vastly improved his technique as best he could since those albums, plus he had been constantly touring then and screaming his head off.
That's why there was alot softer songs on those last 2 albums so if he had to do more live mudvayne he could give his vocals a break as well as why they went on hiatus because it would be hard to do that shit all the time live that's why hellyeah don't have many super heavy songs like mudvayne minus their early stuff lol

@@raptorrsr5817 his voice box was shattered by 2003. I heard he's had throat surgery since so hopefully he does get better with time and maybe if he loses a bit of weight it might help with his breathing.

Just saw them on Sunday in San Diego. And I was blown away the show was so intense there were parts where you could see him actually tearing up. My seat was close to the stage
I was at same show. I love zombie but I'm kinda sick of their setlist.....best part of zombies show was the production. I had never seen mudvayne before, and I thought mudvayne did more with less.
After all these years, they still got it. Looking forward to their new album.

I saw them in 2001, 2002 and 2009. I was just at this show in Mansfield a few weeks ago. I was shocked they sounded this good because I remember how incredible 01/02 was but I remember 09 being terrible. That Elmo costume was fucking stupid too. This show actually felt like being “back from the dead”.
Yeah by 09 they were nothing like the monster that was 2000-2005 mudvayne
Saw them 2000 opening for Slipknot in a 500ppl club in Boston, Again, in 2001/02 as well as the last 2009 show. More recently @ Welcome to Rockville last November (the video is on here as well).

I have seen 100s and 100s of bands and shows. Mudvayne at Chicago Summer Sanatarium 02 maybe? was amazing.One of the most rememberable for sure.I thought Ryan was seriously possessed.Man is a monster on Bass.Met Chad at the bar after the Hell yeah show in Peoria IL.Also was a bad ass show.

I saw the house of blues video a million times, trust me. its 20+ years old, but was recorded somehwat professionally... this video here is filmed with a very nice Panasonic HC-VX1; but the audio quality in both videos is not ideal, so it's hard to make a perfect comparison. I would put these two on par with eachother and that is pretty nuts for a singer in his 50s.
@@fivestringpat Yeah, he sounds pretty good now, but back then he was on a whole other level. Vocals on that HOB show are insane. Saw them at Ozzfest '01, having no idea who they were. Hit the stage and took them only a half hour set to make me a huge fan. Easily the best vocalist to come out of the "nu metal" scene at the time (and yes, that includes Corey Taylor), although I don't lump LD 50 in with the massive junk heap of late 90's-early 00's nu metal albums out there. It deserves better. A heavy sound all their own, can't compare it to anything else. Absolute masterpiece.
