I agree with everything they said. I'm impressed it's still alive, but not surprised. I was there for the Peak, and it was incredibly fun. Honestly, that's the best word to describe it, "fun".
Even today, on North American and European servers, you can consistently get high player count or even full lobbies on turf, mixed mode, team vanquish and town hall events. This game is far from dead. Although, if you play enough you will start to recognise usernames, so there is still a small community.
As someone who played it at peak and recently returned due to bordom I was shocked at how quickly I got into online matches, then I went to old coin glitch videos and there were some new ones for exp too, then I got recommendations from new RUclips content on it, I'm honestly impressed it survived this long and continues to

The first ever online multiplayer game I ever played was PvZ gw. I was such a big fan of the first game I read the comics as well. And when I saw zackscott play that game I needed to get it. Through the years when I was 7 - 10 I played that game all the time. When I heard PvZ gw 2 was out I played alit of it as well. Then I took a break for a couple years and the I heard PvZ bfn was out. Only played that game twice. Now to this day I still play the good ones. I’m 17 rn and it was a great childhood.

Woah. I didnt know the devs actually fixed or kind of fixed the hacker problem! Im actually extatic I remember playing it in 2018 with a friend and it was honestly the first glimpses of my passion for games
i bought gw2 a little while after its release. i did take a break from playing it like, a year afterwards, but started playing again in 2020, and have been playing it since. im rank 53 at the moment, and closing in on max rank. i really hope they revive these stupid lil games, hopefully the sudden steam release and increase in players get popcap to make a new one.
As someone who did play Garden Warfare 2 at its prime, I think it’s safe to say that the game is still hanging in there, just as much as Team Fortress 2
I played the first and the second game and I was really enjoying it but that last one it didn t get me interested because first of all design secondly they replaced the backyard from a second game and final they removed variants or how would I like to call it "skins" I didn t liked that at all so I decided to not even try last one of these and decided to stick with those last two

ive been in the same situation as you, never experienced the games at their peaks despite really wanting to eventually got gw2 a few years ago and even after its prime its still one of my top 5 favourite games of all time, just wish i COULD have experienced it at its prime
