Great vid. I've been thinking of upgrading to distrokid musician+. I've always been uploading my music in 16-bit 44100 which is the cd standard, is there any advantage when you use 24-bit?
Not a major advantage at the moment to be honest. Some distributors even still ask for 16-bit. A few platforms are starting to provide high resolution streaming so having your future uploads in 24-bit can’t hurt and may help, so you might as well. But I wouldn’t worry about re-mastering previous releases.

I can’t make one bar of music due to anxiety and my poor eyesight,I have keratoconus and everything is a blur,I bought Beatmaker 3 ,Cubasis, sampletank but never use them because my mind just goes to a blank,I can’t tell anyone what it feels like because they don’t feel that low depressing feeling when you stare at an empty daw,stuff around with a few sounds and then close the daw. I got bipolr and bought total studio 2 max byik multimedia but have not used it at all,I feel helpless and hopeless.
Very sorry to hear. That must be very challenging. Hopefully you have folks around you to help. And if not, there are places to turn with professionals who can help you with anxiety and depression. I find listening to music can provide some assistance sometimes too. Take care.

Hello Pete! I’ve come across a huge problem that’s killing me. I’m currently using this synth app as an audio extension unit called “minimoog model d” and it was workijg the first day but now everytine I try using it it says that it’s “not installed on your computer”or “audio extension quit” even though I clearly have it on my iPhone and I can literslly go to the app itself and it works perfectly but it won’t work on GarageBand anymore. And it’s not just when I’m sharing it. It’s the whole time. I just can’t use it at all. I was wondering if you would know what the issue is and how I could fix it. Thanks in advance!

Is there a way to set the album price to free with DK? If not is there a similar distributor that can release it on multiple platforms for free?
Not on platforms like iTunes and Amazon. Bandcamp is a platform that offers this.
