Bruh...am new at this riding adventures and I am doing research on gsxr's. What year of the gsxr's would you recommend with better technology and mechanicals in order to work on the bike yourself? On the 2006-7 they encountered electrical issues on the 600.... It is so confusing and just inquiring about what year(s) is good for the 600's Really appreciate your input brother.. Btw, the ride on the tunnel was sick...😅😅 Safe riding Much blessings 🙌 Ty 🏍🏍🏍😎😎😎💪💪💪
Hey man, appreciate the support 🤟. As you can see, i have the K6 Gen which is the years you mentioned. They do have electrical problems which is why i have a volt meter on the bike to keep track of those things. I personally have been riding this bike for sometime and she has not shown any of these issues. New gsxrs will potentially be more reliable, and will have more rider assists should you need them. I would recommend this gen as long as milage is below or at 15K. Just make sure you have a volt meter on hand to test charging voltage (has to be above 14.2). My rectifier is also OEM (New) and relocated to the exterior for optimal airflow. My stator is also new as a precaution. Working on the bike is also easy, everything is relatively in your face and accessible strongly recommend this gen. Thanks! let me know if you have any more questions.
@NYC_RIDES bruh your are f*** amazing since I don't have motorcycle knowledge. That helped me a lot...super bro super. Others it won't tell you much. Am looking at 2008-9-10 since the front light design is better. Also on the years 2011-12-15 not bad at all. Thank so so much for sharing knowledge my man. Safe riding Much blessings 🙌 🏍🏍🏍😎😎😎💪💪💪
@NYC_RIDES bruh...just curios and any advice would appreciated.. On my searches of bikes I found one for $1,999.00...it has 33K miles, 2005 600, but it needs a lot of work.. Needs Fork Seals, Brakes, Tires, Chain, Sprocket, few other little things, slight oil leak. Project bike sold as is. Not Safe to Ride Home This is a project bike, mechanic special sold as is! If you have question call the shop or come on down and check it out! Is it worth it to make it rideable? Appreciate your input 👌 Ty bro.
@@ppg19782 if you don't know how to work on bikes - it's going to be a big headache. I would not recommend jumping into that kind of project. You could possibly ride it home if you were experienced, but I still wouldn't recommend it. Mileage is also very high.. you would need to check valve clearances, injectors, fuel pump filter, air element, rear shock, clutch, everything basi
i sweat its impossible to find ppl that ride like you keep uploading
Ride safely brother life isnt a race 🙏💯
