Now that would have being so awesome. Just correction as I know it was so long ago now. But it would have being December. 1, 1993. During INXS's North American Dirty Honeymoon World Tour 1993/1994.
I still feel so moved when I see him. It’s so easy to see why everyone who knew him really loved him. So wonderful that Tiger Lily will always have things like this to watch so she can know her father better. ❤️💞❤️
Michael Huchtence would have turned 60 years old last Wednesday. He was what you would get if you put Bono,Mick Jagger,& Jim Morrison in a cocktail Shaker and then poured it into a martini glass 🍸.
@@janawebb6490 I remember during when "Elegantly Wasted" was released and INXS did promotions for it by performing on various talk shows and they went on The Rosie O'Donnell Show and she did a Q&A w/Michael Huchtence and he talked about being a Dad to Tiger Lilly and 8 months later, when news broke that he took his life, his daughter was all I could think of.
While I like the music of Full Moon, I would rate the lyrics as in the top three of any musical lyrics written in history, in about four or five of the songs. It is definitely Michael's most heartfelt lyrics that he ever wrote in his life, and they are as profound as you can get.
@@aarons.596 Factually, 100% agree. Artistically, greatest lyrics ever or top 3 of all time. You have to have had the same type of transcendental experience as him to understand what he's singing about. Not too many people have, or the record would be much more highly regarded as a work of lyrical art with pretty good backing track
@ReturnOfTheJ.D. Although I'm a HUGE fan of INXS and particular the Welcome to Wherever you are, and the Full Moon Dirty Hearts era of INXS. But easily Michael Hutchence's most powerful lyrical album would either be INXS's Elegantly Wasted, or his Solo Album that was release after his death and recorded in the years, months, weeks, days, leading up to Michael Hutchence's death. That's just my opinion. I respectfully admire your own opinion though.
It's very odd that Stewart mentions the island of Capri. Michael went crazy from his brain injury and pulled a knife on Gary. The band went on a three year break to allow him to recover.
@@benicio1967 Yes, the brain injury was in 1992. By 1997 he was losing his ability to sing; which may have been partly the reason why he killed himself.
Todd Strandberg i just watched a live performance of elegantly wasted from 1997, and I thought that Michael’s voice still sounded great. Gotta say I don’t think he was losing his voice. I still don’t understand why he died. Sad..
INXS were around for 26+ years, that's hardly a "fad" lol.. they were one of a few insanely popular bands from the 80s that lasted through the 90s and beyond.. they made great music that still sounds fresh today IMHO
@@SXI96 INXS had a great run in the 80s but a non factor in the 90s. And they didn't last "through" the 90s. Hutchence died in 1997 and INXS is nothing more than a bar band without him...
@@mikeblaz Look at some of the reaction videos of younger people discovering INXS, songs like What You Need and Falling down the Mountain are still fresh AF.. if they were a "fad", they would've died off with 80s metal hair bands.. the fact that INXS was still around in the 90s says a lot.. they made a huge comeback in the early 2000s I love Grunge bands, but I still love INXS and to say they were just a fad is total bulls**t
Here I am 2024 … still miss him. And look at Jon 😮
We miss Michael... !!!
I saw them in December of 94, in the Houston Astro Arena, in the front row. It was the greatest concert I had ever seen.

Our Aussie rock legend 🇦🇺🇦🇺RIP Michael 💜💜
RIP Michael Hutchence ❤️🙏
It's difficult after all of this time to look back at MH, the man had it all. Imagine what more INXS could have done had MH not passed on?
a cool singer /guitar pair...hutch and fariss
Full Moon, Dirty Hearts is my all-time favourite .
If I was Elisabeth Shue I would have had a f-ing heart attack.
Me too
Que bombonazo !!!!!

Top 3 of history? Exaggerate much; an album that sold less than 200,000 copies. This album literally wrecked their career.

Look at Elisabeth leaning forward so she can look at Michael! He screams sex appeal! Miss him
Elizabeth shue..... absolutely delicious...... Long live the INX!
Jon lookin' like one of them cool kids XD

Todd Strandberg so michael had already suffered the head injury at this point?

1:37 hahahahaa
Two things: First, Michael Hutchence....wow. Second, could the audience and clothes BE more 90's???

Farriss is wearing the shirt of the bands that ended INXS.
Every one said they were the best-looking band from Australia. I would say they were the best looking bad anywhere.
Máster of puppets. Ídolo
Jon had the looks!
INXS was a fad...grunge took over. Pearl Jam, AIC, Soundgarden, STP, Nirvana were so much better in every aspect....
heck to the no
