    I’m a big fan of the VTOMAN brand, let me tell ya! I gotta say, I already got my hands on the X1 jump starter with air compressor, and man, this thing is a game changer! It’s like having a superhero in my car, ready to rescue me whenever I’m stuck with a dead battery or a flat tire.

    ive had mine for over a year. The Lifepo4 battery is an underated beast that is safer than ION ...600x runs my 45watt cooler nicely. Due to an electrical power drain in my car, I used it to jump a completely dead battery twice within days. It Still held 99 percent power. A good buy for sure. I recently purchased a LokiThor Lifepo4 Jump Starter for the sole purpose of jump starting.

    In Michigan if you turn on a electric motor you are charged for 15 minutes even if the motor runs 15 seconds as in drill or chop saw, refrigerator motor, so these power stations are invaluable once you realize what the power companies are doing to us.

    I just bought the 600w. Hopefully it’s reflected in your Amazon so you get a lil extra change for your pocket. We are already getting tropical storms that may head to the Texas coast and I need extra power for my moms oxygen machine. I have a jackery already for her machine but want something extra for my small car ice chest fridge, laptop and phone at least. I may end up buying the extras like the panels, jump starter and an extra battery. The Texas grid is at its max right now with extreme temps a month too soon. Not typical until late July. We shall see.

    I woke up this morning wondering which was the best power system you ever tested and decided it was time for a binge watch tonight. How very cool! I go online and you're doing a review! I live on the Texas Gulf coast and start watching NOAA hurricane reports in June. Husband bought a beast Honda generator that will run our whole house and did once for 2 weeks after Ike. Problem is that it gulped gas and when power goes, so do the gas stations. I just need the the fridge, the freezer and one fan and both the fridge and the freezer can keep things safe with intermittent electricity as long ad you have lots of insulating blankets and don't expect ice. Anybody out there, as as thing don't defrost, just keep them below 32 F in the freezer, and plan on a big block party where you provide the meat when everyone comes home. Now going to finish watching PP and start my binge.

    Probably the most promising of the solar generators you’ve reviewed. Price per watt and the inclusion of jumper cables being key, but that price is probably gonna be a sign for the market for these systems as a whole.

Definitely a cool thing to have incase of an emergency for lights and small items, hooked it up to an electric blanket that listed 2.2 hrs total. Single light for 32 hrs.

    • @SewingBoxDesigns
      @SewingBoxDesigns Год назад +1

      Brick chargers always get toasty, we keep ours on a silicon mesh hot plate. The problem with the bluetti is the charger is internal and the thing overheats and won't charge, which is why we're looking at the Vtoman. Someone pointed out, if the brick melts, you buy a new one inexpensive, the bluetti power station melting means 300+ in one go.

    Thanks for this review and your channel, I’m definitely drawn to these devices with the idea of hoping to cut long term costs…. But between this and the Bluetti eb3a, although I was initially more interested in this, I am concerned about the long charging times, especially via solar, because to actually use it enough to be able to save I would need to use it and therefore charge it almost daily but living in an apartment in Italy, despite having a park outside, I wouldn’t have the option of letting something charge all day while hopefully having found a job to go to!

    So by 3000 cycles means the times you recharged it?

    • @kevinjohnson1139
      @kevinjohnson1139 6 месяцев назад

      A cycle would be one full charge from 0% to 100%. Kinda. So, charging from 80% to 100% would be 20% of a cycle. Do that 5 times and you’ve charged one cycle.
      Phone batteries generally have a 500-cycle life. And they usually last several years. So, a 3000-cycle life would last many years with steady use.
      VTOMANs LiFePO4 battery with a 3000-cycle life is the main reason I chose it over its competitors.
