Just my perspective, Version 2 should be a carbon resin mold adds more stiffness to the holes you have the metal rod beams could bend the whole box or mash itself like axle damage.
When you run 2 ESCs, you have to pull or cut the red wire from one of the ESC's wire to the receiver or as you seen, something will blow. I had the same thing happen to me. But my experience was 2 ESCs on a Clod Buster and 2 Modified pulling motors. I ended up cooking the ESCs and the receiver. The guy at my LHS told me what I did wrong when I took it to him. We ordered the same ESCs and receiver, took one of red wires out and I ran it for 2 years before selling.
Hey man. I’ve been watching you for YEARS. And I’m finally getting a 3D printer and it’s thanks to you that I’ve found so much interest in the hobby and can finally start making prints of my own. Thank you for the amazing content and exposing me to such an interesting world of possibilities and fun
About 7 years ago, I learned about you during the X525 video. You have gone from an awesome young man to an even more wise and respectful gentleman. I congratulate you and your parents. Here is to you Simon. You have made us smarter every day. Thank you from my heart. Surf's Up Dude!!!!
Awesome Simon! So happy to see another video we missed you! You are so awesome! You inspired me to open up my own youtube channel! Thanks for inspiring us with every video you make! JAG ÄLSKAR DAJ
I will just leave a comment here, because RUclips might acknowledge that this is content worth showing to everyone. Superb content. Keep it up, can't wait for part 2
OMG 🤩. I can’t believe you did this build! I’ve had this build sketched up for over 3 years now. I’m so glad you did this build and am excited to see what issues I would have ran in to. Thx ♥️ your content. 👍
Simon, i saw that the surfboard was sinking under your weight, maybe add more floats so that the board is completely floating. (This will dramatically increase the speed of the board as there will be much less water resistance and drag. I hope you see this comment and improve on this aspect of the project. (BTW you are my favourite youtuber)
It's incredible to see how a Captain's hat immediately boosts the credibility and sophistication of the person wearing it (... especially with the price tag still dangling on the back...) 🤣😂🤣 Well done, mate!
man i dreamt of building something just like this when i was a kid but there wasnt batteries or motors adequate for the job. So cool that now its possible!
Make a hydrofoil design with a standard propeller, you could even use a simple flight controller connected to an elevator system in the hydrofoil to make it self stabilizing.
FYI the part you yeeted away from the coupler is called the spider, its job is to account for some axial misalignment to help dampen vibrations, so you probably could have kept it.
Only barrier to having amazing electric toys, tools and vehicles is a portable power source that can output lots of power for long periods. We'd be living in a sci-fi show if we had crazy good batteries.
Surfboards do weird things beyond surf speeds. If you get going, you'll be able to stand on the nose of the board with the nose about a half meter above the water. The rocker of the tail sucks the rear down...plus the water jets too. Awesome project!
All of a sudden it hit me. I haven't watched a video from RCLifeOn in a while. I stopped by and saw this one video that I had not watched and your humor is great all the time. You have and make some great things. Keep making content! Is there an STL file on thingiverse for the box you printed? If not please throw it on there! I think I am gonna make this my winter project! I wanna see that second video!
I know the idea is to do this with a surf board, but I think it would be pretty cool to do this with a small launch, maybe even build it with a hydrofoil? I dig on this project.
Hey Simon! I bought a pair of 8S 200A "marine" ESCs from FLIER for a wooden speedboat I made. At one point the boat capsized during a fast turn. It did not sink but floated on it's back during 2 minutes. I retrieved the boat and dried everything out immediately. The ESCs were not floaded but got some water projections om them. This season when I tried to run the boat again, Both ESCs were dead... I opened them and I saw why :-O The waterproofing job is absolutely horrible and definitely useless. My advice for you: when you'll receive your ESCs, open them, check carefully and finish the waterproofing yourself! You'll have saved a few bucks ;-)
i had the same idea from youngsters channel, but will go with 500kv 45k 90v @132amps, 100mm Jet, have ordered the flier prog. ESC for 22s and 240 amps powered by 3 turnigy 6s 16000mah and one 4s 16000mah in series. Its for a 20kg kajak build. The parts are getting here step by step, i am excited :D
I used to work for the factory that made the original powerski jetbords, they were 330cc 45hp jet powered surfboards, they go about 40mph on th water. Really would love to design an electric board too.
I've wanted to do this in for over a year. . But ended up being a BIT out of budget!!!! Ended up being an incomplete project:( that is awesome. . Hope your new esc's works magic! Loved the vid!
"So you can see it...So you can see the fire !" 🤣🤣🤣🤣 This boat with 2nd floor is just wow !
We need raft build 3.0 as a vid, for sure.
Just my perspective,

UUT
I started watching this guy when he had yet not have a moustache. Ohh how time flies =') and ur growing way to fast

I was hoping someone else pointed it out. It was amazing. I'm not even a cinema student. Lol

That is true if they have internal BECs. These ESCs do not.
I got two 400A OPTO, no BEC.
This type of ESC's should be hooked up to a reciever in parallel , otherwise they won't power up together.

Well done! I love how you showed the whole build process and all the attempts. Excellent work! Keep it up!
OMG 🤩. I can’t believe you did this build! I’ve had this build sketched up for over 3 years now. I’m so glad you did this build and am excited to see what issues I would have ran in to. Thx ♥️ your content. 👍
Next step: give it a hydrofoil.
And fins at the back.
Yessss
I just commented almost the exact same thing, then I saw your comment
doesn't work.
Sadly I think it would need a whole redesign
Mark is a riot! Makes a wicked awesome product that every grown man wants.

Keep riding! Thank you for sharing the story.. yes next to add a foil?
Your vidjayos warrant a 12 out of 10 just for the comedic value alone! Brilliant, as ever, thanks for the up.
Simon one video a month is definitely not going to be enough
You got to upload much more to grow your youtube channel
We all love you❤❤❤
You were the person who inspired me to get a 3d printer. I recently bought the ender 3 pro with stiffer bed springs and an all metal extruder.
Keep uploading ridiculously faster than the fastest uploader on RUclips
Randomly found this channel, definitely not disappointed, keep it up!
Yes Simon! Finally. If you'd taken any longer over this build I'd have had to have tried it myself... excellent work.
your transitions are absolutely godly
Back at it again! With Simon the builder
Everytime I see all this sleek part with the aluminium housings in your videos it screems "expensive" on me :D
What can be better than Simon uploading daily
"now you can see the fire". That is hilarious. Only those who "have let the smoke out" can appreciate that attention to detail!
It's incredible to see how a Captain's hat immediately boosts the credibility and sophistication of the person wearing it (... especially with the price tag still dangling on the back...) 🤣😂🤣 Well done, mate!
Was your tool box lid waterproofed?
3:26 such a smooth transition
Dude watching this, you're like my new favorite person. End of statement.
One of the most entertaining videos I have watched in ages.
What 3d designsoftware are you using and can you recommend a good 3d printer for beginners?
ÄNTLIGEN, var inne igår och kikade om jag missat något. Älskar dina avsnitt, keep em coming!
That was the smoothest transaction I've ever seen 🤙
man i dreamt of building something just like this when i was a kid but there wasnt batteries or motors adequate for the job. So cool that now its possible!
Awesome video Simon 👍👍
Finally a new video. It’s been to long
yazzzzz
Exactly
so amazing. Waited for this projekt a long time 👍👍👍
no finally he made the thing he always wanted
8:55 Wait when did you guys build a second floor on the raft lol?
I want that video
Sansui yeah sane
Sansui same*
2:26. the solution for your equation is 385, in case you couldn’t solved it.

Yesss finaly uploaded after 6 years
Impressed by Mark's ride and spectacular recovery!!!! Cheers from Australia

Omg finally my buddy is back on stage
Only barrier to having amazing electric toys, tools and vehicles is a portable power source that can output lots of power for long periods. We'd be living in a sci-fi show if we had crazy good batteries.
What do you think about using an EDF instead of that motor with coupling stuff?
Great Video (again) Also, nice that you gave credit to where you got the idea.
welcome back my favourite RUclipsr! it's been so long I started my own channel
What editing software do you use?
I'm pretty late to the party with this comment but GREAT WORK! Love your style of video. Earned yourself a subscriber!
Youngster Jets.... What can I say? Such a cool channel and the guy is just nuts!
It will reach supersonic with new speed controls, great video.
The speed control needs water cooling? does it heat so much?
Excellent creativity and engineering.
I enjoy this type os videos cuz this are the things I would do if I have enough time, thx to make me happy
The helicopter props get me every time. :D
Nice edit at 3:30 !
Awesome project !
Your accent makes this video so much better
The surf board was awesome..... Really enjoyed your video...... Thank you so much.....
Surfboards do weird things beyond surf speeds. If you get going, you'll be able to stand on the nose of the board with the nose about a half meter above the water.
The rocker of the tail sucks the rear down...plus the water jets too.
Awesome project!
this is sick i was just thinking about making one and here u are building one😂😂😂 love ur vids
I can't tell you enough about how entertaining you are!!!
That little ruubber bit is to allow slight misalignment between the two shafts 🤣 cant beleive you just yeeted it away, this wont last long
Excellent video in all respects!! thanks for posting it and spending the time creating (video and project and humor)!!!

FYI: "Red soft thingy" = elastomeric coupling element.
Missed the video. You absolutely need to finish this project. It's like the surfboard equivalent to boosted boards.
Hi, do you attempt to rewinding the burnt Turnigy motor? Any winding data?
This is what I’ve been waiting for so happy to see you Simon! Been a while since I checked in happy to see your still at it!
bro you are a legit genius
I'm making one of these boards, what do you do with the anti spark wire? You didn't touch on that in any of the videos. Thanks!!
good to see from you again
Duuuuuuud I was searching for something like this on RUclips and found nothing. That's a cool ytb idea. Can you make the same with a wakeboard ?
christoforos makrelis you wouldn’t want that mate, trust me
@@lukas_g243 I meant something like this ruclips.net/video/eTAa9BDGYNw/видео.html

Welcome back Simon Love your videos btw!
since a long time ago I was waiting for new video I am following you since a long time ago love from India by yatharth saraswat
i am about to start a similar project myself, and you helped me a lot ! THANKS !
Hi
It's really cool broo
I have a question about 3d printers
Can tell me about the multiple colors 3d printers or 3 in 1 mix-color 🤔
Compliment! Well done. Where can I find the Youngster conducts?
Would it help to put on a fin or two under the board?
I love your
two-level floating platform...
Yo, look into how jet ski drive shafts are joined with the jet drive on there.. might learn some helpful tips, (rubber motor mounts) hint hint

Finally, it's been awhile Captain
I hope the weather will good for the part 2.
i had the same idea from youngsters channel, but will go with 500kv 45k 90v @132amps, 100mm Jet, have ordered the flier prog. ESC for 22s and 240 amps powered by 3 turnigy 6s 16000mah and one 4s 16000mah in series. Its for a 20kg kajak build. The parts are getting here step by step, i am excited :D
Great video, as ever. Loved the way you managed to keep your cap on 🧑🏼✈️
whats the price to build it
3:28 Wow what a sick edit! Applause
Nice transition! You know what Im talking about Im sure haha
What motors did you use?☺
Simmons channel has potential to grow very big ONLY IF he posts daily
awesome build. !
I think you may need a stabilizing fin down the middle
Greet video! Vera informative and also interesting to see the struggle to improve by ‘trial and error’.
how long can use if the batery full charging ?
You got the brains to back up an idea
