Brilliant. Doing what the Jeep was designed for (kind of!) well done.

Having got a Jeep over the summer, I'm quite a bit away from doing an expedition like this. But what a fantastic trip....well done 👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻. The big takeaway of course is that when Mr Musk gets us as far as Mars, he's gonna need to take a few Jeeps to get about. Outstanding and magnificent terrain. We'll done again 👍🏻

Excellent adventure! A friend has a ex military Jeep from the 40s.
What is the year and model of yours?
Loved the convoy with all the Defenders.
Interesting reversal of things; my wife’s daily driver and our weekend fun /adventure car is a 2018 Jeep Wrangler, and I am doing a mechanical restoration on a 1966 Series2A Land Rover88”.
I live 2 hours west of Yosemite National Park, and my goal is to make it safe and reliable to make that trip and back. The road is smooth and paved , however a brake failure would mean death!😳. Old Landys are not common here in the States and very rare here on the West coast. The nearest shop is more than 100 miles away , so I’m the mechanic.🥴
    Cheers
    Part 2 will be interesting.👍

there is a book about 2 german students who took a willys jeep and a small caravan in the 60s and went 4 times from cape to cape. crossing the sahara too. Very interesting if you see which minimal ressources they used to archieve something what others are doing with bullet proofed expensive expedition vehicles.

Sorry, it’s a Landrover series, not the willys. But they wanted to take a willys at the beginning, However, the message and the adventure is the same. From north cape to Capetown and from Cape Horn to Alaska with a series 1 and a caravan. Crossing the Sahara as well as the jungle

Is that one of the garages in Zagora, which helped with the rear springs? Did a similar trip in 2016 with my son in our LR 109 S 3 (200TDi Swap), 1984. Heinz, Germany
