Great video. I’ve messed with my iPhone 14 camera settings so much that I don’t really like any photos it takes of anything. What’s settings should I start with from scratch? I have a rural listing for a family member and it’s not my typical market. All the photos in the mls in that market suck and they are by different photographers. I live in the Chicago burbs and my photographer is amazing and I get to choose 25 amazing shots from her basic package which is only $280. I’ve spend so much time trying to find a photographer in the rural area down in southern IL and all of them live to far away so it’s like $500 with travel fees which I get and would pay but I’m not impressed with their work. I just ordered a cheap wide lens device from Amazon that just arrived that I’m going to attempt as well. I just need to know if I should use Pro Res and Raw and all that. Like I said, when I got my iPhone a year ago I watched videos to set up the camera but whatever I did I’ve never really been satisfied from just basic photos or videos with the phone. I might restore the camera back to factory settings if there’s an easy way. Just ordered a tripod because of your video. I can return everything if it’s a fail and just pay a photographer. It’s not even my money but it’s the principle that all the photos I see on the MLS down there for even 2 million dollar listings are not impressive at all. A really good real estate photographer could grow their business so quickly in the St Louis area on the Illinois side and Missouri side.
When I started, I had the very basic settings and I never saved anything specific. The iPhone 14 shoots a 4 bracket HDR shot already so it's hard to really adjust anything specific. The downfall of iPhone photography is that if the lighting isn't good, you will get some noise based on how bad it is. If I were you I would try taking one with the normal settings and without taking it off the tripod, increase the exposure and take another. You could blend this together in LR/PH but rural was a bit challenging for me too. What did you order off Amazon? If it's cheap, shoot raw, if it's good, shoot JPEG. My canon M50 had to shoot raw because it only went up to 3 brackets and and if it was JPEG there wasn't enough there to get a good photo in bad light but my Sony a7iv I shoot JPEG cause it can shoot 5 brackets and even 9 in really terrible lighting so RAW isn't necessary. Trust me I get it. you will most likely need to dabble in Lightroom to get a better photo but yeah I'm in Central Florida and Orlando/Tampa is a tough market but I grew pretty fast in the small towns because word travels fast if someone is capable and willing to learn. I never touched a camera when I started and learned it on the iPhone so hopefully you can capture some good images!
So since the shot is already automatically HDR, what I did was take the shot at the exposure I wanted the photo at and then take one more dropping the photos exposure and brightness all the way down so I could get the camera to focus on the outside. You will need a tripod for that so the window pull will look even with the photo 👍
i need a camera for self use for my projects though m an architect so i was thinking to purchase iphone or mirrorless camera, can you suggest me which one to buy?
It depends what exactly you need it for! So the iPhone takes things automatically in HDR so the photos look nice but if your an architect there may be some instances where you just want raw photos so I would say a camera seems like a better choice but I’m sure you could make it work with the iPhone as well!
Yeah for sure, I would find a home that’s not an expensive listing and find a realtor who will let you practice, and I would tell my clients that if they aren’t happy with the video then they don’t have to pay. That always made them feel a lot better and more secure 👍

Is there a way to take 3 different HDR exposure photos like you can with a dslr camera and blend them all into one on the iPhone 13?
