Whoo, it didn't take very long for that next update to AmigaVision. I'm liking the updates though it takes me several hours to finish downloading the thing >
That Chromatic seems expensive compared to the existing options. Do we know whether they are using an existing core or building one from scratch? If the former, they really need to give proper credit. I know these tech bros like to "disrupt" stuff
It still seems that the business concept might work out, especially when even channels like this one reports on it uncritically and ignore which kind of person is responsible for the product. Game on, retro fans! FPGA ftw!!
Ummm... The NegCon does not have a rumble motor in it. I think folks have this confused with the JogCon, which is a NegCon backwards-compatible controller with force feedback launched several years later?
Never owned a NegCon so I wasn't aware of that. However, I did some research on this and it turns out that some racing wheels used the NegCon protocl and some of those wheels also implemented rumble. It's definitely a confusing update. Thanks for letting me know, I'll update everyone on next weeks video.
Why are so many people in the scene chilling it? The other boards from him might be far enough away, but a very close direct copy of a still-sold board from Terasic, which is not(!) a reference design, should really be reconsidered
Did the NeGcon have rumble? Pretty sure it didn't, since I used it a lot back then. Maybe they meant the JoGcon, also from Namco, that had force feedback.

So....the Chromatic costs $20 less than the Analogue Pocket....it has 10% of the screen, a smaller/simpler FPGA and thus far less capability...the Analogue Pocket seemingly does everything it does, plus every 4th gen HOME console and older...plus every 5th generation HANDHELD console and older... Genuinely, what does the Chromatic do that the AP does not?
Not 10%, 1%. When you multiply the vertical and horizontal resolutions by 10, that's 100x. I'm sorta more interested in my Analogue Pocket, but a 1:1 Gameboy Color isn't really a negative. You're just limited to Gameboy, not much else. Mister handheld is the only FPGA handheld I'm telling friends to look forward to.
This channel has already featured the DE10-Nano clone. It's no surprise to me that it has gotten even worse. However, promoting products from Palmer Luckey is certainly another level altogether

Thanks! Got my Pro Board from MiSTer Addons this week. Keep up the amazing work!
Awesome! That board has some excellent video quality.
Sweet Lu, have a good week.
Thanks! You too!

So late for me but had my coffee and finished work, time to update_all and get the news!
It would be a good idea to have an area in the case where you can add a TapTo NFC Reader

yeah seems pretty "me too". I am not sure what the unique part is

literally 'military grade' quality. 🤩

Another Amiga vision update? Seems like I just updated it. Ooh Castlevania AGA!
Soooo hyped for $99 mister

Pokemon Pinball. Finally, a fighting chance.
If they make better cores i guess so.
Dreamcast / Noime would be nice.
Otherwise wait for the competitor. Like mars. There will probably be another.

@@LusRetroSource Nice, didn't know about the rumble wheels.
200$ for a gbc FPGA? No thanks.
With a perfect screen. I think it is worth for the right person. Looks nice, but def a luxury item.

Palmer Lucky is a joke. Don't patronize anything that fool is involved with
Funny how an "orange" Chromatic is their lead marketing device. He sure does love orange things and PEOPLE.
