Willie Nelson is a world treasure…one of the last of the legends and at 90 he’s still singing and playing better than most of today’s “country” artists.

It is amazing to see Willie still performing. I love his guitar and can you imagine the stories that guitar could tell. Lucas sounds alot like a young Willie. Willie's guitar is so old and still sounds so amazing. Willie still has it. I love to watch Willie play a guitar. Bless his heart and all the performers at Farm Aid. His son's are really good too. Just got back from driving 450 miles from Noblesville and watching this …….that’s how damn good Willie and the entire show was . Ruoff was sold out and packed . Lots of special guests not on the Show Bill including Bob Dylan, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, & Sturgill Simpson. Incredible day…..Willie was fantastic.

Willie is my alter-ego, born just 9 months after my birth. I feel his music in my breast, my sternum, I have had many dreams about him closely related to my life since I first heard "Red Headed Stranger" and have a visual picture of the very street I was driving on in a residential neighborhood when his voice entered my breast where it has remained ever since. And now especially with the "BS" part that we are all surely living today. I would estimate that I have attended at least 50 of his concerts.
This is so Great here, Willie with his Family, May Willie Live to be 150 Years old, He is The Music of America, & The Music America Needs, It is A Miracle that Willie's Hands still work as well as they do, He plays Great here, Cousin Figel

Back in 1978, I wandered into Musicland and purchased Willie and Family Live, a brand new double album. Forty-five years later those songs and that sound still resonates with me.
The last record store I visited was Waterloo Records in Austin, TX. Great store but I must admit, I actually didn't walk out with any vinyl because I now stream most of my music. The thing that album back in '78 did for me was get me started playing guitar and writing songs, and I am happy to say I'm still gigging and recording to this day-as is Willie of course.@@raygunner2437
Yep that was an excellent album. That’s really the album that turned me on to Willie Waylon & all the great country music. Before then I lumped it all into the BS bubblegum garbage Nashville was pumping out & never gave it a chance. (little did I know it’d get far far worse & now that bubblegum garbage looks halfway decent compared to the new country music).
The 2023 Farm Aid concert with Willie, Neil Young and Bob Dylan, is one for the ages. These legendary performers are living testimony to the power of music and they inspire me as I approach that so called retirement age.
This was one of the best of the night! Willie sounds amazing and performing with his sons is such a special treat. Watched the entire live stream and am thrilled to see this set again! Thank you Farm Aid. 💝

Ive seen Willie maybe more than any other artist. Dos Amigos so many times. Cactus Moon. Big concerts and little ones. Saw him and Waylon together for the last time at the 4th Of July Picnic. Always great to see. Im glad he is still playing and seemingly having a good time despite his obvious winded condition. Its hard to your heroes grow older but thats the cycle of life isnt it? Willie sounded so good April last year when i saw him in Austin with George Strait, he sounded pretty decent earlier this year on his birthday, but this is worse than he was in 2019 before he got a covid break. he cant breathe at all but i respect him getting out there and performing. he struggles to talk and hes still singing in different cities 4-8 days out of the month, more than some artists half his age. he said he wants to die up there on that stage and i think its fitting.

I got to see Willie and the band just a week ago in Forest Hills, NY. The rain was coming down, but the music was wonderful!..They actually BEAT my expectations. Willie sang well, the band was great, and they played, "Me and Bobbie McGee." What a treat!
Willie is a real freedom fighter. It's 2023 and security doesn't like right handed cigarettes but they appreciate left handed ones. In fifty states it's hard to get in trouble for the Herb now. Cause it's not viewed as troubling anymore. The IRS picked on him hard and he knows the life of sleeping in a ragged ol truck. Amen to the persistence for freedom. I went touring and Willie is multiculturally recognized. He gets an award and street cred for smoking snoop under the table... Next step...officers and emergency workers need the freedom to chill after work with the safest thing. Serious...we need to bridge the gaps, change the insurance industry, and allow Real Safety Meetings. Many officers deal with traumatic experiences regularly and are most at need of the peaceful herb as an option.

Every one in the shop ran away saying it Willie, he was with his wife n 2-3 kids. I just walked over n asked if I can help he just said he’s looking around. I asked him what he do n he said he was a writer, singer n dummy me I did hear that he was playing downtown so I said I played a guitar n would he like to jam!!! He was nice n just bought a pack of 5 white T shirts with a $100 bill n left. Everybody in the shop nearly fainted or died haha 😂 dummy me So that was my chance meeting with the great Willie Nelson n nice gentleman wished he had jammed with me 🙏👍🏻🎸❤️☮️
I saw Willie perform once back in 2009, also at a festival. I didn't remember that first song from before it's hard to believe this is how he would begin his performance. I still really enjoyed hearing Willie his voice was great and I really liked Particle Kids Bullshit gospel song lol.
Whoa Willie & the band definitely practiced & tightened up for this show. It’s been awhile since they’ve sounded this good. You know he’s always gonna put on a great show for the big events. The problem is when it’s just a regular tour show they just shuffle through it & he hardly tries to sing.
