    Good evening Anthony. I'm a Marshallese that was basically born and raised in the states. Listening in to your video and translation encounter you had with the natives. I've realized many similarities between my native language (Marshallese), and Nauruan. This is a very beautiful video. Greatly appreciated.

      Yokwe brother! I noticed the same about when I was in the Marshall Islands too that the structure of the language sounded the same. I also have a Fun with Languages video of Marshallese I'll be posting in the next several months. I'll be sure to update you when that comes out :D

    Yekwo- Afternoon
    Yabum- Night
    Wawen ee?-Where you going?
    Tameg- Stay
    Oyo- Strong
    Ojo - Stand
    Gwein- Finish

      Indonesia has some strong linguistic connections to the pacific islands interestingly. And it all connects to ancient migration routes. So fascinating!
