Washington DC February 2024

February 8-11, 2024.
Stayed at Hyatt Place National Mall.
First day: Train down to DC. Dinner at HalfSmoke, taking the subway there.
Second day: Breakfast at hotel. Visit to NASA. Air and Space Museum. Walk around the Sculpture Garden and snacks outside. Bus to Jefferson Memorial. Bus to MLK Memorial. Bus to Lincoln Memorial. Explore the Korean Memorial and Reflecting Pool, then the WWII Memorial. Bus to Chinatown and Founding Farms & Distillers for dinner, brought donuts home for dessert. Back to hotel, played cards.
Third day: Breakfast at hotel. Bus to Capital One Arena. Coffee at Compass Coffee. UConn vs Georgetown game!!! Visit to National Portrait Gallery and SMAA. Dinner at Tony Cheng's. Bus to Jeni's Ice Cream in the Navy Yard. Back to hotel, played cards.
Last day: Breakfast at hotel. Walk to Botanical Gardens and explored there. Walk to Capital and explored that area. Back to hotel, then uber to train station and train home.
