4:18 never apply glue in the middle of square box... It will spread the colour of the paper(if using kite paper) and will quiet be visible in light. Apply glue on structure only and then stretch the strips to hold in place. I have been into making kandils for over a decade now. Anyways kandil is nice👌

I think she has used ribbons instead of paper. Paper color will fade in sunlight.
