I had no business listening to this at 16, but listen👏👏. It was the 70's! 😄 What a time to be young! 😝😎🙌🏼🙌🏼
What a time💖
A real classic...R.I.P Major...Everybody was playing this song back in the day...Great memories.
Asia you made me laugh. I could see you blushing! This would play at the club as the last dance - let your mind wander off 😂😂
😁
"Explode in Ecstasy"! The look on Asia's face was priceless!!
Steve...they talking bout the drug? Nevermind.....lol
I still play this when I need a giggle! Major Harris did have a great voice, but the sound effects and your reactions never fail to make me laugh!
Hey y'all. Yes this is a love ballad from 1975. Major Harris was with the R&B group The Delfonics before he went solo. I was 12 years old when this was released but I knew this was the " It Mood " song of that year. Along with Donna Summers " Love to Love You Baby "
True that......"Delfonics"!!! Good info. 🤜🤛
I was playing basketball at my neighbors when I heard this song. I instantly loved it!!
I thought he was with with The Moment s
@@juanwoods6662 Major was with a couple groups before he was with the delfonics the jarmels and nat turners rebellion the songs that he did with the delfonics that stand out the most were walk right up to the sun and think it over major had some good solo songs he just didn't get the airplay he needed love won't let me wait will always be his song
i was 8yrs old, in 1975.. no words can describe how good the music and times were back then .we were truly blessed to be apart of that era...
Back in the day you didn't need to make a playlist of good songs. Just turn on the radio and leave it on.
PLEASE SAY THAT AGAIN.
C Munyb , never a truer statement . This is probably the best comment I've seen on all the channels. 👍💯🤗
You got that right! 😂
For real!!!
Yesssss❤
Guys!!!! BJ’s face on this one is THE BEST!!!! 😂😂😂😂😂👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
He likes it
Asia and BJ if you think this song was provocative listen to Pillow Talk by Sylvia. It was a big hit in 1973 although some radio stations refused to play it.☺
Oh yes. This song will make you fan yourself. 🔥
Hey Asia & BJ, This is some classic "baby-making" music...You two watch out there now with what might happen after your reaction to this song!!! LOL!!!
When my parents played this.... I knew I was spending the night at a friend's house !!
That was funny 😮😮😊😅
Oh!!😮😜😂😂😂!
You guys should be dancing to this one!! Sooo smooth. Asia is all hot and bothered, too funny☺ Great reaction guys😍
This is truly a long lost gem. Man, why don't they play this anymore???
Wow, just realized how much of duet this is! Especially toward the end! Never knew this dude name, but my folks played it back in the day a lot.
I was 10 in 1972. This song was on the radio a lot. Good times . I miss those days
One of the most beautiful smooth songs; it takes its time ❤. Was a little kid when this was on the radio; didn’t get the whole meaning 😂
Asia your reaction is priceless!
I hadn't thought about this song in decades! This was released in 1975, the year I graduated HS! Great reaction, you two, and thanks for the laughs! LOL ✌💙✌
Another big hit song doing this time was YOU ARE MY STARSHIP
Philly. This is Major Harris, lead singer of Blue Magic, cousin of genius songwriter, arranger and producer Norman Harris.
it's 12/1/23 and this video popped up on the side of the YouiTube video and I figured I have to watch this to watch Asia's reaction again, and I laugh my butt off every time, your reaction Asia is priceless and timeless
y'all's reaction is priceless. I'm not sure why you guys have never heard this before. I kids when they were young got a stream of EWF, The Whispers, Confunkshun, The Jacksons, but also The Eagles, Bobby Caldwell, Hall and Oates, and Rock, Southern Rock, Pop, etc I listened to all of it. I watched Soul Train and American Bandstand. At any rate, you guys made my day 🥰 God bless
Haven't laughed this hard in a while 😂 I was a teen when this song came out and it was a definite favorite breaking nights with my girlfriend getting it on till the break of dawn. This song was it.
Never saw Ais smile soooo big!!
Just cheezing!
I haven’t heard this in ages, damn you’re killer it tonight with these old soul love songs, you have me laughing my ass off🤣🤣Pretty suggestive
Oh this was absolutely hilarious during the stream!!
This is belly-rubbing dance music - a prelude to later.
I have found my very favorite youtube video, I have watched this video multiple times and I laugh my ass off every time watching how uncomfortable Asia is and BJ is Loving it , LOL
Thanks for the Love this is Major Harris Jr
Salute to you and your dad.I am singing this song in our band.I appreciate so much real singers.Paradise for your dad
I completely agree much love ❤
One of the best 'Get Together' songs of all time. Loved Asia's reactions :-)
Slow danced with many women to this back in the day. 😉. He was in The Delfonics before
She's blushing! LOL
you can see that Asia is very uncomfortable with her laugh and BJ is loving it, LOL
This is a real SLOW DANCE, guys!!!!!! Wow!!!! ♥️😉✌️(When a slow dance with someone you were crushed was THE THING! Old times, folks!!!)
SOUL BABY! listening to the quiet storm after hours! i will stop there!
Had to stop, and here it is one of my favorite slow songs of all time, man was I in love with the best looking guy in town?? Oh yeah, and this song would be on his radio when he'd pick me up to go cruising and then go to our favorite make out spot 😜😍🥰...the memories won't let me ever forget! RIP my Romeo, you'll always be in my best memories ♥️♥️♥️...thank you both for all of the great music you bring to us each and everyday!! Love y'all 🤩
Damn, Asia over there getting hot and bothered, while Major Harris lays it down. Certified baby-making music.
Another one that's in that line: Are You Going My Way by The Whispers. Y'all should check that one out too.
Hey Asia , you are slick, 😆 that look you gave BJ, was , Something Something, y'all crazy this was Heavy , if I can remember back in , 75 by the Major, Mr Harris. BJ bro you crazy.😆😆😆 , Those facial reactions 🤣🤣💯 priceless. More Funnies from you two. That the seventies baby, coming from a child from the early 70,s even then we knew what was , slyly interpreted 💯💯🤣😆😂 , now we got the diet , political trickery correct age , mostly everything lost in genuine flavor, but hey it is what it is, they held nothing back , especially, the, 50s 60s70s, and till about 1983. After that we have to get correction or sanitized as we are now, but thanks 💯😊 love you all reactions.
Is so cute, seeing Asia blushing it had me blushing back in the day when I first heard it, lol
The music I grew up on...best EVER. You don't know how tickled I am that you folks are discovering it. Still listen to '70s Soul almost daily.
We all wish we could last as long as the ending of this song. What a classic.
I’m a 68 year old white guy but this along with many other older tracks you cover where the soundtrack to my life thank you for that music was real back in the day.
Try Bloodstone Natural High I’m sure it won’t disappoint
✌🏾 to brother Major Harris
I was 14 when this song came out.
My Dad heard me playing my record
...Dad took my record and record player.
How sexy and smooth is this? I remember blushing as a kid hearing this and hoping it wouldn't come on when my parents were around because I'm sure they would have changed the radio station! LOL.
OG's slow dancin', poppin' and grindin' to the last song at the party!!!
I love the reaction from u guys to this tune, you guys are great man u are crackin me up,good stuff, keep it goin.
Dang I absolutely love this song but yalls reaction, makes it even better, tytyty 😁😁
Baby-making music from the 70s, oh YEAH!!
Asia: After this song, if you want to give BJ a heavy dose of reality, you should react to 1972's "A Ladies Man" by Oscar Brown Jr. It'll let him know what's coming for him, as it does for all us men!
Yessssss
Hey now, this set the mood ... nothing less. Come on Bj !!! You see her SMILING!!!
Yeah!! I got pregnant a few times listening to Major on the radio and I was alone!! 😂😂😂
I remember watching the live when this was played after asia said the artist and song and smiling and thinking they're not ready, cause this bout to go from romantic and sexy to romantic sexy and erotic real fast.
I have loved this song for awhile now! So passionate ❤
Straight up Philly. Major Harris was the lead singer of Blue Magic. And the cousin of the legendary Norman Harris. Recorded at Sigma Studios. The heavy breathing woman was one of the Sweethearts of Sigma, who sang backup on 100's of tracks at Sigma.
Ted mills was the lead singer of blue magic major was with the jarmels and nat turner rebellion and then delfonics that's him on walk right up to the sun
Can you believe this came out in 1975 - nearly 50 years ago.
This sounds like what we used to have here in NYC on the radio, Kissing after dark on KISS FM..
I am so shocked that you two have never heard this song before.
davidhess8049 there young they wasn’t even born when these song came out
@@christopherhollinger2145 I know, I mean on the radio at some point and time, it comes on a lor of R&B radio stations, when I was a DJ I would listen to my local Philadelphia R&B radio station to find great music for dance music
Flashback! Little did we know this wuz a grownup jam!
If it wasn't for music like this there would be no Asia and BJ LOL!
Yes Yes 👍🏿 Yes yes
this long version gives sylvia's "pillow talk" a serious run for the racy. :p :)
Sweet Philly Soul
Richmond Virginia only Major Harris I remember when he song at local clubs in the Richmond area went on to join the Delphonics then went solo.
Asia , I think you blushed through the entire song . I know your smile was the biggest since I've watched . Refreshing to see. Great reaction.

The Number 1 Slow Jam of 1975 Hugh Monster Hit for Major Harris
Asia & BJ . This was sexy time music back in the 70’s. & it’s also baby making music.
Hehehe.
I grew up in the 70’s.
Amazing song! Without this release we would never have the Luther version.. both bang! Luther gives me chills though, but he couldn't have done it if this wasn't first. How can a song be so in detailed about "it", and not nasty at all.. classic!
Wow I had forgotten about this song, kicking myself cos it's so dang good!! 🎶🎵💚
Uve gotta know this....this is gonna be an all-time fav!!
Classic soul at its finest ✌🏾
Major Harris you to sing with the Delfonics.
last song of the night, closing down the club. fellas, last chance to shoot those lines and get the girl you've been checking out all night...😉☺
Luther did a cover of this but nobody can sing it like Major...check out Al Wilson's Show and Tell and DJ Rogers' Heavenly
Do The Isley Brothers “Don’t Say Goodnight, It’s Time For Love” And “How Lucky I Am”
Looks like BJ was really enjoying the images this song put into his mind. Did you guys have to take a break after this song finished?
Look forward to hearing this!?
I was 13 years in 1975 and when I heard this song no one could make me go out of the bathroom because I was very busy dreaming and making another things dreaming with the girl I heard on this song
Hardcore gangsta sh** Rite here!! 💯💯💯💯👌
1 AM, ...couple of glasses of wine, slow dancing in the living room ... your imagination does the rest ...
Thank you for the Old school 😊
Please check out Teddy Pendergrass' "Turn off the Lights", LTD's "Love Ballad", Isley Brothers' "For the Love of You", Billy Paul's "Me & Mrs Jones".
This is one your momma better not hear you listening to back in the day LMAO!
Hey guys you got to check this out when Luther did it. Luther vandross had an amazing vocal singing this song. His vibrato and runs are legendary!!! 💕
@@markcampbell6484 Mark when you're right you're!!! Isaac Hayes had a great interpretation of every cover he did!!! 💕
He's got a smooth way of saying it
Absolutely Fire. Keep in mind Luther did a version and typical Luther it was also fire.
This song is steamy
I wish I knew yall personally. You've got to be one of the cutest couples I've ever seen. You remind me of how my late husband and I got along 💜🌹🥂
