Quite a few tarantula hobbyists are former arachnophobes, myself included.
Elise What I find strange is that I don't care about tarantulas. I actually love them and can handle them, but for some reason spiders which web a lot or are "fleshy" still makes me go right to the floor.
Helko it's me, a former arachnophobe 😅 but I startet getting into this hobby just by watching his Videos für I think three years now. You'll get used to look of them and start your own collection soon.

I used to hate tarantulas few months ago and then I started watching your channel and I've actually fed couple tarantulas yesterday in a reptile shop. It's amazing how my opinion about them changed since I've started learning about them

Hi Petko, I have raised loads of Avicularia (versicolor, minatrix, metallica, purpurea, boa vista, diversipes, avicularia when all if them still were Avicularia haha), but keep an extra close eye on your A. sp. Peru purple! They are realy sensitive, and can die way more easy than others. Crossventilation, enough humidity, never leave food in and be very sharp on mold because they will die soon. Nice additions, going to enjoy seeing them grow up! Cheers!

To solve the rubric's cube turn one corner until it matches all the colors on that side then flip the cube and rotate the next side until it does the same. Continue to repeat this process depending on how out of order your cube is, the longer it will take. You can find info about it on numberphile youtube channel.

My pulchra hasn't grown very slowly at all. Went from 1/2" and now it's almost 3 inches since early July. Great eaters too, mine only refuses food during premolt.

Hi Dark Den!!! I was wondering if you could PLEASE add the common names of the tarantulas next to the scientific names in your videos? I love watching your videos as I am a beginner spooder collector and I find them very educational but I have dyslexia so I cannot read nor memorize scientific names so I have no idea what you're holding sometimes!!!

depends on the species, arboreals can usually be a bit bigger because they use vertical space

I lost one out of 10 T's during the cold. It was an APP too, funny enough. They're quite sensitive. Now i've decided to wait until spring to order a new ones. Just in case. However, Spidersworld offered me a free APP on my next order because it died. They're so kind!

Im from Muskoka, Ontario, in Canada so i havent seen anothher spider bigger than my hand (wolf spider) here. We do have similar forests like you do in Croatia but there are no scorpions here lol
