+Samazam MHX has a lot of frontier mechanics in it. Like one of the recently revealed Gunlance arts "Wyvern Blade" for MHX is the wyvern blade from this game.
+Samazam Actually it is not that rare. The "burner sword" technique is the "Sky Style" of gunlance, that is trading in Wyvern Fire for the official name "Heat Blade". The heat blade is so OP in Frontier that no one ever use Wyvern Fire anymore. Within 2 minutes, your gunlance gains extra range, locked at highest sharpness level(or one level higher if you are white or below), never reflects, forced 100% critical chance, for a bonus, it triples the innate fire damage of gun shots and the heat blade itself . It is so OP because of it's non-reflective aspect, so basically you can pretty much ignore weak points of the monsters and keep thrusting anywhere you like until it runs out. Also, when Heat Blade first came out, it dull your sharpness to zero after it expires( sad times indeed), however, it now can be repaired with one whetstone, which is nearly non-existent. Also, with activated skill(which in Frontier you probably have it anyways), the reload time is a broken 60 seconds.
+ Sosoishero Heat Blade that's it TY. One of my friends mained GL he did a couple of equations and with Hiden and some other skills the cool down period goes to just under 20 seconds. Yet the most OP weapon in Frontier is GS. I see a lot of people use wyvern fire instead of heat blade. Even though the buffs you get from H.B are awesome, your AoE attacks are gone.
Nice. As a gunlancer myself (tho I've never touched frontier) I think that's an interesting mechanic. Would love it if they bring that over to the main series, or at least in X.
Samazam you actually kinda have that, the hunting techniques "Wyvern breathe", which within sometime, the heat gauge locks at highest level, which equals to abouf 1.2 times damage.

武器の属性、氷とあと光ってるのって何ですか？
おぴういさんの使われている武器は煉凍属性と言って氷、炎、龍が一つに合わさった属性です。「光っている」に関してはヒートブレードのバーナーではないかと思います
+志藤淳哉 水色に光っているのはスキル「一閃」による会心エフェクトですよ。見切りだけだとお馴染みの赤色っぽいエフェクトになるんですが、一閃が入ると赤から水色になるんですよ。これは、餓狼＋2が発動した時と同じエフェクトです。
因みに、ガンス秘伝のHBは武器の会心率が100%になるので、攻撃すると必ず会心のエフェクトが出るんですよ。あと、この動画のガンスはディスフィロアの武器で属性は熾凍属性という火、氷、龍の3属性武器です(知ってたら申し訳ないです)。
