I'm currently reading "Brainwashed: Challenging the Myth of Black Inferiority" by Tom Burrell which speaks to the self-defeating attitudes and behaviors that hinder our ability to operate as a collective.

Kim Lewis - great book...great author. Another relevant book for this day and time is by Haki Madhubuti, “Taking Bullets: Terrorism and Black Life in the 21st Century”, 2017 I believe.

Prior to Dr. Carr mentioning Derrick Bell I was thinking to myself the similarities between Geneva Crenshaw and Professor Hunter; how she sets up the scenario and then Bell = Dr. Carr brings it home.
Amazing as always. We have to be strategic in our fight. We have to recognize the importance of rank/position/job. Everyone can't be the warriors who throw the stones. Some must be strategic generals, some have to be negotiating delegates, some have to be teachers of the vision, some have to be builders of the strong walls of the kingdom/refuge/ the safe place, and some must beat the drum; passing the messages along. But wherever we are in the rank and file we All must understand that we are one and we must be united. And we all must reunite literally to Africa. The Handmaiden's Tale is one appointment away from being true. If you not ready for a real war than remember Leticia from Lovecraft Country as she ran out of that soda shop she said, "Get y'all ass up. We've gotta get the fuck out of here".
