When you guys are in the go karts it's hard to tell you guys apart quickly. When you look at the hands for a bit you can tell, but maybe one of you should put the wristband on the left arm or something 😂 would make it easier

I am watching the truck race at Talladega. Imagine my surprise when Fox interviewed Ben Rhodes crew chief - Rich Lushes. I was shocked. I had no idea that Thorsport had made any team changes. You went from a crew chief who is arguably one of the best in the truck series to a crew chief who probably has zero experience being a crew chief. Sounds like Thorsport has completely given up on you and that you are probably out of a ride once this season ends in November. I am sorry that everything seems to have completely fallen apart.

Hailie I'm sorry but everyone is nervous racing on pavement or concrete tracks in any racing series from Go-Karts to cup series to indy cars or formula one racing. The top tier drivers in every one of those racing series the tip ten drivers push through that nervous feeling and fear or crashing because they are driven and want to be the absolute best they can be and the best among the top drivers in there series.
To me this is exactly what your problem is, the fear of crashing and getting hurt or killed on hard racing surfaces and high speeds because when your kn dirt in any form your as crazy as the craziest male driver in the race which to me means your not as nervous or fearful of crashing in those dirt trucks cars or your canam side by side. You freak me out and I worry about you the way you drive those dirt vehicles so fast and what I call out of control.
I honestly don't think at this point you are capable to run at high speeds on most nascar tracks. You were ok on the dirt at Bristol and there again it's slower and your in your wheel house on dirt at slower speeds.
Even the SRX series with Tony Stewart your in your element at slower speeds on mostly short tracks and some on dirt.you shine in that aspect of racing.
I think you may have jumped the gun on starting your nascar journey and maybe these truck series seasons should have been spent in the ARCA SERIES learning and preparing and getting the speeds down on all sizes of hard surface tracks before you made the jump to the miserable overwhelming truck series because the top 15 truck male drivers are pushing so hard to get there chance to move up to the xfinity series as soon as they can and by them doing that they know they can't let being nervous or scared get in there way and you have found that out with the way you have struggled against these crazy guys that will do whatever it takes to get a win or top 5 every week.
I honestly don't think you were anywhere near prepared for what was going to be an extremely hectic crazy crash filled truck series. It's what we all call the prooving ground for nascar and to build your resume' for your future rise through the ranks and on up to the premier series of CUP RACING.
I don't know if it's lack of ability to tell your crew chief what your truck is doing and what it needs or is it what I said earlier about your nerves and fear holding you back.
I've always noticed when your team gets you out of the pits up front like top 3 or 5 or even top 10 you fade fast in most all cases on most all tracks when going back green again.
I see your truck get squirrely when your up there between the top drivers and you come out of the gas and fsll back quick and I know it's your nerves and being scared of them crashing you or you being the cause of them crashing.
If your going to Continue to drive with those burdens on your shoulders in your arms and hands your not ever going to make it in nascar and I know I'm my heart you know that two.
I just have my doubts after 3 seasons in trucks on hard surface tracks that you are meant to be in nascar.
I'm so afraid that fear and being scared is going to get you hurt or even killed because your so tense behind the wheel. You can't make quick moves you need to be able to make to drive out of trouble when you're so tight and tense through your body. Somehow someway you've got to trust that the nascar trucks and cars are built so safe that it won't matter what happens out there Your going to be fine just like everyone else is going to come out just fine.
Wrecks happen on the roads and highways and wrecks happen in all forms of vehicle racing. It's just part of it but if you can't get past knowing that then your honest to God in the wrong profession Hailie.
I honest to God believe those fears are all that's holding you back from being up front in most races even in trucks.
If you just throw caution to the wind like you do when you climb into a dirt track car or truck or canam your going to find that your so damn good and all that fear is just that commons sense fear that keeps you safe while racing.
I honestly think if you just drive the wheels off the trucks and say to hell with it I'm going to find out what I can really do and just go and who cares if you wreck or wreck a top 5 guy , atleast your proving to your owner, crew chief and team and all of us fans that love you so much and love to see you compete against the guys will know your putting 100% into your driving ability every freaking lap.
I know damn well your team is waiting for you to be the real Hailie Deegan because I damn well know all of us fans have been waiting 3 yrs now to see the real Hailie Deegan not the fearful scared version that I know you don't want to be.
When you get up front, breath don't hold your breath and lock up and stress out that's the worst thing you can do. Trust what your team has put you in and give it hell. If you you wreck your learning what it takes to get right up to that point so next time you know when to ease up a bit and get through that.
But honey you've got to go your career in nascar is on the line. I'm still praying everyday that some owner for some team will give you the shot you need in the xfinity series because I know in my bones you belong in a car not the damn trucks.i wish they would end the truck series all together and just have a 3rd car series for that level of racing like what use to be the busch grand national series.
But these clown running nascar these days are doing more to destroy nascar then help build it up.
I see they've finally realised they need to get back to the indy oval race instead of all these stupid road courses .
And finally back to both Bristol races on the hard paved track again. And keeping the Allstars race in north Wilkesboro is smart. And I suspect trucks will be racing there to.
I pray you read this Hailie and I pray you take every step to relax your thoughts and tension in your mind and body and just let it fly, your going to be ok God's got you Hailie. Show us what your really made of young lady.
