@@survivalcyclistinvancouver6836 you're telling me this guys logic was to not hit a car with a shit load of metal surrounding it with air bags and seat belts, but to hit a guy without any of that instead? He used no signal to indicate he was needing to change lanes, could have easily just honked his horn at the car instead, and should have felt his brakes weren't reacting properly a lot sooner than a couple hundred feet from the light.

Late but honestly same. Literally my second ever accident as a cyclist. Night time, lights going so many lights. Person with no lights on and bam. They took off. I confused didn't get a real make or plate and... There went my bike. Something something people. pay attention and even if at fault please just stop... Don't bother running.

The second clip is why you always look both ways and don’t accelerate like you’re on a drag strip. Yes someone ran a red light, but is it worth losing your life just because some was in fact at fault but you could at least yourself.

sorry but I don't think you've ever ridden a bike, if you have then you should know the heart stopping feeling of someone cutting into your lane, slow or fast, actually slower is worse as that means they are in front of you for longer which you would have to either evade harder or break harder.

Ever notice that most of the cars look like they are traveling in slo mo. SLO the fook down fellas. I ride. Love it. Most of these incidents were legit. Some were going too fast on busy streets. People are not gonna cut you any slack because your on a bike plus your harder to see. Ride like your invisible. 17 years and over 200k miles not one accident. Slow down. Whatever hits you or vise versa won’t hurt as much. Save the speed for the open road.

Majority drive too fast, think they have right of way, are more concerned to get mad at others, rather than driving more defensively. Who cares who is right or wrong, when you are dead, you are dead, so drive carefully. This will save live, nerves and money. Besides, on a bike you can only loose, and you also never know whom you find. I like those who point at mobile phoning, while at the same time they drive with their bike between cars. Is not legal anywhere….

A lot of accidents can easily be prevented even if it's not your fault if you're not speeding like an idiot, if you just stopped & looked both ways before even moving your vehicle & kept a safe distance to every vehicle.
I have ridden motorcycles for many years and almost all of these clips demonstrate idiotic roadcraft by the riders on the videos and a complete lack of riding for self preservation. Filtering through traffic is fine but some of the speeds are insane for filtering through traffic and drivers will just not see you. Jesus guys think self preservation! Yeah there are idiots out there in cars so expect and anticipate don't escalate. While you are busy swearing, gesturing you are not focussed on your riding. Skill up guys!
