It's not a government propaganda tool, if that's what you're implying. In fact, it's widely known that the current government (Conservative, since 2010) detest the BBC for its neutral and balanced critiquing of what it gets up to. They been attempting to hobble it in some way for years. Regardless, the BBC is an extremely centrist organization with no tolerance for any positions that deviate too far right or left of centre. Accordingly, since the centrist position is to go all in to oppose Russia that's the position the BBC undertakes, so in this regard bias shows. Like much of the media it is doing what it perceives as the right thing (supporting the war) for the right reasons (Putin is an aggressor) and while these things may or may not be correct views, any nuance or perspective is lost when one aligns oneself irrevocably with a set position.
Still some supposed expert diplomat on here talking about the Queen of ‘England.’ It’s only been 400 years….says it all.

Bull! Just like the Millenniums of people who thought they were in the ends of time, yet all that happened was civilization moving on. We're in a transition, but not even close, let alone to the whole history combined. Difference is you have social media to make you believe this since we see everything. All you have to do is look at the early 1900's and think what it was like to see, plains, cars, lights becoming more the norm in homes, communication, actual plagues, civil war's, WW1, genocide, empires breaking up, very new empire's like Germany still in the early stages, mass urban life like never before seen. That was only a century ago which must have felt like you claim were unique to which they also must have believed. Difference is they weren't able to here, and learn about all the changes around the globe to realize the magnitude.

Russia has been fighting a war against somebody almost every year Russia or the Soviet "Union" has existed. Through the last 100 years, the Russians have attacked every neighbor country except one. During these 100 years, they have murdered millions in the occupied countries. Putler became popular in Russia based on his war against the Chechens.
