OH NO!! I make them also! but yours are one-of-a-kind! The way I do it is make them roundish. Isn't it odd how we all do things as we have been shown! I love the irregular size and shape of yours! My concern is that it may be too difficult to make any progress in the game(because of the uneven-ness). Do you sand them off? Looks like yours arent sanded, but why are yours so crocked, ? Do you not start with relatively straight hunks of wood to split?
Hi Seth! I find that the crookedness actually enhances the game. I make them from my spoonmaking scraps by splitting with a hatchet. Since I'm using a lot of lilac and mountain laurel, they will rarely be straight. I do sand them after they are split out.
