Reminds me of many years ago and we were very poor, I made zucchini fritters. We ate them with a tuna sauce made with cream of mushroom soup and Worcestershire sauce. Now 50+ years later, my husband still requests that dinner. Yum, maybe I’ll put them on this week’s menu! Thanks for sharing!
Also, I’m learning how to dehydrate and would love more videos.

Thanks for sharing this recipe...I see what I have been doing wrong. I have been making them with left over cooked squash and I didn't put them on a rack over paper towel. Just putting them on the paper towel they tend to steam and get soggy. I appreciate this new way to cook them. Have a Blessed day.

OH MY GOSH ..a reasonable recipe..I get so overwhelmed with all the extra things in a recipe and how people take forever to get to the point 😂...I'm subscribing .. My best friend is in Minisota, so your accent makes me extra happy ...❤..

This is a MUST TRY here at the BCG!
I harvested my first squash a few days ago and we will be swimming in squash for the next six weeks! Sometimes we just run out of ideas for using them.
Fresh harvest summer squash,...yum. Fried in a fritter,....OH YEAH!!! We love your ideas! Thanks!

These look good and alot easier and less messier than battering and frying each slice .
Edit: i just made these with a grated onion added and i cant tell you how good they are, and a lot easier than frying slices.

REnea, could you PLEASE tie your apron in the back before you burst into flames?? Oh Lord, I have so much anxiety when I watch your apron tie sneak closer to the burner!! I just don't want you hurt, is all. It's your kitchen and your apron, but just thought I'd be honest with you. And I LOVE your recipe for fritters! Blessings from NE Missouri!

These are beautiful. I was a caregiver for a lady from Louisiana and she taught me to slice the yellow squash into rounds and dip into just cornmeal and fry. I’m wondering if adding a box of the Jiffy cornbread to the squash would work? 🦋💜

This is really bad, I just had breakfast, and this triggered me to eat again. I’m getting ready to a garden binge. I was only looking for ideas on yellow squash preservation. I’m out of control.
