I love them! They are such a great group. I'm on a mission to get all of their albums on vinyl. Thank you so much for watching! It means a lot! ✌☮
@@sorinvinyl1523 If you don't already have them,Split and Hogwash are also brilliant albums
@@user-rq1lv5wy3o I've got split, but still looking for Hogwash. Also need their first one.
🫡 Great Picks!
Thank you so much! I love your channel! I'm finally able to come to the shop this summer! ✌☮
Hey man. Keep cranking out the videos. Link Wray album has been alluding me for years, I'm holding out for a clean original. Tucky Buzzard I just picked up a few months ago, it's solid hard rock with a blues edge. Road is a fuzz driven killer, love it! Pretty Things is a fantastic band, all their early albums are outstanding. I was very fortunate to have found Adam Blessing in a $1 bin in a Reno record store. Highway Robbery is a smoker. Green Bullfrog I've seen, never pulled the trigger. The Groundhogs and Chicken Shack are UK's finest, The Groundhogs have more of an edge, teetering on Prog at times. Mighty Baby is top of the heap. Nektar's first 3-4 albums are great. Nice showing. Peace ✌ ☮ 🕊
Hey! I'll try lol. Got mine for 25 bucks at a record show, a really nice complete copy! Adam Blessing for a dollar is a steal! Don't have any Chicken Shack yet, but I've been on the lookout. Thanks for watching ✌️
Hi 👋 Greetings from New Zealand. I think I have viewed your channel before , but I'm not sure. Anyway I wore my hair like your length in the mid 1970s. I'm 64 years old this year. I bought a Link Wray album the other day. I like him. He was popular in the 1950s. The album is called 3 track shack. Good music , Country and Bluesy music.
Hey! Thanks for watching! That's great, I'm never cutting my hair lol. Link Wray is great! I'll look out for 3 track shack. ✌☮
Oh man..i love that Tucky Buzzard album..their best I think..Check out their Warm Slash album also great..Parachute is one of my all time favs..I own all of these u showed and love them all..great video..i also want to get Jodo guts hard to find
Great stuff! I don't have Warm Slash yet, but it is on my wantlist. Parachute is one of my all time favorites as well. Just saw Guts at a record show, but couldn't afford it haha. Thanks for watching ✌️
Road is a cool album! Nice Pretty Things album I picked up the double album of SF Sorrow and Parachute and was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed Parachute 🪂 Damnation of Adam Blessing and Highway Robbery both 🔥🔥I’ll have to check out Green Bullfrog. Groundhogs Mighty Baby and Nektar all killer
Not sure where you shop but that Nektar album is never $5 unless trashed when I see it 😂
Take care Brian 🤘🏻✌️☮️
Green Bullfrog is great. How could it be bad with that all star lineup? I bought my Nektar album for 6 bucks at a record store, and its a solid vg++ copy 😁. Thanks for watching ✌☮
Great suggestions Sorin. Parachute is an absolute classic, equal billing as SF Sorrow for me. I'm still missing a few Groundhog lps, Bomb being one of them. You see it around but it's always well played. I'll get a clean one eventually. You make stupid errors over the years regarding not picking up records. Link Wray is one of those for me. Within a few months I had the chance to buy two different copies for £10 and I bought neither, both perfect copies. Last time I saw one the dealer had £60 on it. I'd like to say you live and learn but not always when it comes to records ☺️. Cheers Nige
Thanks! I agree! It's right on par with SF Sorrow. My copy of Bomb is pretty nice. Yeah £10 is a great deal. You'll get a copy I'm sure :) We have all passed up on great deals before. Thanks for watching ✌☮
Parachute is one of the greatest rock albums ever released . And not a lot of people no that . I don't understand why it doesn't get the attention it deserves .
Fully agree! 100% one of my favorite albums of all time!
some great albums there, the groundhogs and pretty things awesome, in the same vein from the period and a band not talked about in the US check out status quo their first two albums are psych then went full on blues rock, ma kellys and dog of two head on pye and all their 70s vertigo albums, my favourites are QUO from 74, piledriver, hello, blue for you and the double live album from 77, cheers sorin
I love the psych period of Status Quo, but never really listened to anything else. I'll check them out! Thanks for watching ✌️
Great picks! Quite a few of these I still need. Link Wray, Tucky Buzzard, Green Bullfrog, Highway Robbery, Mighty Baby. All killer records. You’re steadily adding some heat to your collection. Great work! ✌️
Thank you! The collection is always growing. I'm excited to make the next collection update video! Thanks for watching ✌️
Excellent, kiddo.
New stuff for me... and I'm a geezer. Thanks.
Peace on earth.
P.S. Just copped Mighty Baby!
Thank you! Glad I could show you something new. Congrats on the Mighty Baby! That's a great find! ✌☮
I'm still a bit perplexed that I do not have any Link Wray in my collection. I agree, Nektar is generally easy to find and often cheap, plus it's great stuff.
Link Wray records can be tough to find. I hope you find yours soon! Nektar is a great band. I'm not really familiar with anything after remember the future. Their early albums are killer! Thanks for watching ✌️
"Time Machine" by Nektar is a more recent tune by them. There's a video version of that on RUclips. Rather pleasant.
Interesting. I'll check it out. Thanks for watching ✌️
Mighty Baby's Roger Powell was a different Roger Powell, not the American musician who played with Todd Rundgren in Utopia, but a British drummer. Also of interest, Mighty Baby's guitarist Martin Stone was in an early version of Savoy Brown and appears on their debut Shake Down in 1967.
I know I had mixed up the producer and drummers name in the video, I didn't know there were two Roger Powells. Shake Down has been on my wantlist for a long time, but its hard to get on in the states. Have you heard of the Southern Comfort lp? It also features Martin Stone. A great blues record. Thanks for watching ✌️☮
Hey bro I would like to ask you a question do you like Robin trower because those first two albums that he made twice removed from yesterday and bridge of sighs those are classic kick ass rock albums!! By the way some nice underground classic rock albums 👍🥁🥁
Hey! I love Robin Trower! I've got bridge of sighs and long misty days. Killer stuff for sure!
@@sorinvinyl1523 hell yeah man I love Robin trower he's actually my favorite guitar player seriously Him and James and the original drummer Reggie
Oh yeah he is fantastic! He is on tour now. I considered tickets. Its pretty cheap!
