BioShock Infinite is the third game in the BioShock series. Developed by Irrational Games' BioShock Infinite is not a direct sequel/prequel to any of the previous BioShock games, and it takes place in an entirely different setting, although it shares similar features, gameplay and concepts with the previous games. BioShock Infinite takes place in 1912 in the flying city of Columbia.
The game is set in 1912 and takes place in the airborne city of Columbia, where the player assumes the role of Booker DeWitt, a disgraced Pinkerton agent. Booker has been given the job of finding a woman named Elizabeth in Columbia, who has been confined by a hulking beast called Songbird. Following in the footsteps of previous BioShock games, the world of Infinite explores the chaos that results when strong ideals are taken to the extreme. At the time of DeWitt's arrival, Columbia is a hotbed of ultra-nationalism, specifically American exceptionalism, as shown by the copious numbers of flags, patriotic music, and propaganda posters that boldfacedly spurn the idea that the Columbia could be a 'haven' from the so-called 'unwanted' of the world.
Bioshock Infinite features a range of environments that will force the player to adapt, with different weapons and strategies for each situation. Interior spaces will feature close combat with enemies, but unlike previous games set in Rapture, the setting of Infinite contains open spaces with emphasis on sniping and ranged combat against as many as fifteen enemies at once. Combat will also take place while the player is traveling at great speed along the Sky-Lines, a major transport system of Columbia.
Columbia Locations include: Lighthouse, Welcome Center, Raffle Square, Comstock, Center Rooftops, Monument Island Gateway, Monument Tower, Battleship Bay, Soldier's Field, The Hall of Heroes, Inside the Hall of Heroes, Hall of Heroes Gift Shop, Return to Hall of Heroes, Finkton Docks, Beggar's Wharf, Fort Franklin Pier, Worker Induction, Center, Plaza of Zeal, Good Time Club, Plaza of Zeal (Return), Gunsmith Shop, Shanty Town, Bull House Impound, Bull Yard, Finkton Proper, On to the Factory, Factory, Courtyard, The Factory, Emporia, Port Prosperity, Downtown Emporia, Memorial, Gardens, Comstock House, The Atrium, Warden's Office, Operating Theatre, Hand of the Prophet, Hangar Deck, Engineering Deck, Command Deck, Sea of Doors.
Characters include: Booker DeWitt, Elizabeth, Comstock, Daisy Fitzroy, Cornelius Slate, Lady Comstock, Rosalind Lutece.

+Cacen Flowers to make it short cause I don't feel like writing an essay; There are infinite universes. All with similar things, some with different things. Constants and variables. Booker is Comstock after the baptism when he is reborn as a new man. Booker is going after Elizabeth which is anna, his daughter. Comstock ruins Elizabeth's life by locking her up in the tower and Booker regrets giving her up so he must wipe away his debt by getting her back and killing Comstock. But Comstock still exists in Infinite universes so Booker must be killed before the baptism so neither of them exist any longer. I probably just confused you even more so feel free to ask if you don't understand lol.

Rewatching from back when I was 14... 23 now and Brad's videos still are better than Netflix entirely. Especially with amazing games like this. He's calmed down with the chair throwing since he became a dad tho. Love you, Brad!

7:00 to 7:30. that's when the game made me just sit and look. and say the word "beautiful"
Watching this video led me to watching all 20+ (whatever it is) hours of this entire game being played by Brad. AND it has totally immersed me into the world of Bioshock, especially Infinite. I started knowing nothing about this game or series, and now I know every detail of this world and pray for a movie one day. The Lutice's, Booker, Anna, Comstock, Fink, Daisy, Songbird, Chen Lin, etc. If you have no prior knowledge of this game, Brad plays it through, and it is an amazing adventure to go on. A great departure from life, kinda like getting into a really good book or tv series. Just watch the videos til the end. Then continue your search for Bioshock knowledge from there like I have. Enjoy the long long long fall down the rabbit hole. When you land, you will be glad you jumped in.

Many have been inspired by these games, the creativity and crafting behind them are remarkable, astonishing and motivating for a lot of artists. I've never enjoyed a game so much as I did Bioshock. I just wanted to say Damn I loved this game. I love how the story unfolds and everything about it. I wish they would start making another bioshock. When I played tis game 5 years ago damn, those were good times.

I was on the fence about buying this. After about 20 minutes, I knew this was something I'd be interested in and picked it up (great decision).
With the new RUclips changes, hopefully you can continue to do these videos because you are earning money for the game developers opposed to hurting them in my opinion.
If you played BioShock 1 and 2, you would have no hesitation to buy this. This is honestly the greatest game I've ever played, maybe one of the few, and better than the original 2.

Finally a walkthrough that allow story lovers like me to enjoy some of the views. Thanks for the play man. Other players would have just rushed to checkpoints and try to finish the game as quick as possible.
The Vibes bioshock gives off are just really weird and creepy but at the same time it's also a really good game.
The only game that actually made me tear up in the end. One of the greatest stories a video game ever told honestly to me

according to the multiverse theory proposed by steven hawking (which i believe is the same one adressed in bioshock infinite) there are an infinite amount of universes where booker didn't sell her, or he got her back before the portal closed. there is also an infinite amount of universes where he didn't get her back and the events in infinite take place as normal, hence the name "infinite". this is why the end of infinite doesn't necessarily make sense. killing that one version of booker in infinite ending does nothing to stop all the other millions of millions of other parallel universes where booker didn't allow himself to be drowned, and even if it did fix it all (which goes against the real multiverse theory) there are plenty of other ways they could have achieved the same goal WITHOUT his death. honestly they could have just lived a happily ever after together in that universe where they killed comstock, but nooooooo, they have to break our hearts by killing booker, and then ELIZABETH. i have a theory of my own which says that bioshock developers just love to kill off their main characters and watch their fans cry.
don't get me wrong I'm still in love with the game and the story.

only retards are conned into 4k screens, the eye can not see any clearer than 1080p(eye retina density) 4k is for the moron buyer who gets sucked into the tech company hype, admitted the curved tv's do offer a slightly different viewing experience but none that i can say is worth it, the only place a 4k tv would be of any benefit is for a huge 60" inch screen where pixel density is stretched and in need of compensation, going back to consoles v pc's the pc has no fear of consoles, the graphics card technology is built to futureproof itself for 10 years worth of updating, the cost is high providing you head for the 3rd or 4th from the top price mark, (choose Nvidia) the trick is to buy a great pc for around £1200, keep for 5 years and selll for half the value with a wiped ssd and hdd, this can be then recycled into investing in the pc tech at that time, huge money saving using a pc, huge range of playable games that are otherwise unplayable for console usres, and super cheap to buy on steam sales, beta content is more accesible and often games are crosslinked to play with console sad acts, not only that PC'S are sexy as hell all lit up with mutiple fans running with added liquid cooling, its just joy factor knowing you have it at home

Seriously, Bioshock Infinite, Bioshock and Mass Effect 2,3 have between themselves the best intro/openings to the game ever.
This was the first game I ever actually completed. I've always been a gamer at heart but to this day I've never had the money to get a proper gaming PC or console. I played this on my Xbox 360 and I have no clue as to how I got this game, I got it a long long time ago but didn't pay for it, my best friend probably gave it to me for my birthday or something like that. Immediately I was infatuated with this game - the aesthetic, the power system, and the storyline intrigued and engrossed me into it immediately. I'm not particularly good at games, since I was rarely able to play, but I put my best effort forward and was obsessed with this game. I remember the final fight with the rebels and the Comstock supporters and I failed that fight like 6 times but kept going and trying until I beat it!! (SPOILERS AHEAD)
When I got to the ending and it was revealed that Comstock was the player character I LITERALLY sat on the couch with my head in my hands for like 20 mins, it was an INSANE plot twist for me and I don't think any game I've ever played or will ever play will truly encapsulate the feeling I felt at the blind reveal. Still to this day it's probably my favorite game just because it's one I was actually able to beat by myself and one I was actually able to play. Bioshock Infinite will forever be one of my favorite games of all time, even above Minecraft and the Forest. At some point someone gave me the first Bioshock game but it was too scary for my prepubescent self to play lmao. Bioshock Infinite solos

All 3 games and their single player DLCs plus extra features are coming to current generation consoles remastered in the Bioshock Collection on September 13 (North America), September 15 (Australia) and September 16 (Worldwide). PC players who own the first 2 games will get the remastered versions for free. Bioshock Infinite won't be upgraded for PC because it already meets current console standards.

all that changes is that further on, if you threw the ball at Fink (the announcer) they give you gear, and you don't get it further on, but the gear doesn't really help. The only one I used was the one that set people on fire with melee and landing from the skyline
